Tucked away on the “barbarian” side of Hadrian’s Wall on a Northumbrian hill farm, this stone cottage is a unique, self-catering hideaway for up to four people offering spectacular views, privacy and utter seclusion. Cosy and romantic, accessed via its own private gravel road across the fields, the Bothy is within easy walking of the dramatic central section of Hadrian’s Wall. The isolated rural nature of the Bothy is perfectly suited for couples, families and very remote remotely working!

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.

Free pick up after 5pm from Steel Rigg and free drop off before 9am. Dog friendly too.
