We had the most dreamy of times at the villa! Maria gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. We loved her hospitality and proactive hosting, giving us tips and recommendations of places to visit in the area. The place provided everything one could wish for, from pristine looking rooms to hammam showers, a fine gas bbq and shaded terrace, glorious swimming pool, comfy sofa and a kitchen chefs would enjoy. The surroundings are to die for. Sinuous roads and endless sea views, unique beaches, but also mountain hikes, gorges and wine tastings not far at all (car is a must). Closest taverna has delicious food. Agia Galini is a short drive away and offers all essentials should you need to shop, eat out, find an atm or go on a fishing boat trip. Thanks again for a fantastic stay! We will be back sooner than later!

What a beautiful home! We had such a great time we can’t wait to be back. Lots of privacy, surrounded by nature and a short walk from the beach. The house provided everything one could wish for, a comfortable bed, very well thought out kitchen with everything in the right place, a lovely bathroom, good A/C, the whole place is very tastefully designed… but the highlight was the terrace! Shaded, private, we enjoyed the hammock and the sound of crickets while gazing at the sea. Christos was an excellent host, extremely responsive, helpful and always nice and warm to us. We were also welcomed with wine, fruits and even groceries left by the owner, which made us feel at home right away! Not to mention all the delicious treats. Truly phenomenal stay, thank you again!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Matthaios is an incredible host who makes you feel like family. We arrived before check-in and he graciously sent us down to a nearby bar/restaurant for some drinks and relaxation. At check-in, he provided us with Cretan snacks and drinks and shared lots of information on things to do, where to eat, etc. The house was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed. The view from the pool and outdoor sitting areas was breathtaking. So peaceful! Matthaios provides you with whatever kind of stay you want - a private one or one where you feel like you have a tour guide. He offered to cook some appetizers one evening and we took him up on it, enjoying getting to know one another and telling stories. We sincerely hope to come back as we feel we not only had a comfortable and restful stay, but we’ve made a new friend!

We booked a couple of days in Agia Galini and wanted something traditional with a private balcony and with a spectacular view. This was perfect, huge balcony and the view was just spectacular! Easy to walk to the beach and the town for restaurants. Parking space was reserved for us and Niko was friendly and welcoming. It’s a traditional room. Shower room was lovely and fridge, kettle and crockery was useful. Balcony is shaded with an old grapevine with seating and loungers, perfect for a relaxed breakfast and an afternoon plating cards. We will be back and will stay longer next time. Perfect base to explore the south of the island .
