Beautiful nature regardless of the season and several lakes. Grocery store, restaurants as well as train and bus station are located in Vittsjö village. Guests have access to rowing boat, two kayaks, and fishing from the dock. Golf course, moose safari, waffle cottage and Skåneleden are located in the nearby area. Skånes Djurpark is reached by 45 minutes drive. There, Nordic animals such as wolves, bear, lynx and other Nordic animal species live in their natural environment. See opening hours on the respective website. Skåne offers many more excursions for both big and small.

Welcome to Strandängens Lya on the outskirts of Osby! (Read the entire listing!) Here you have views over Osbysjön from the living room, bedroom & sauna! The home is located in our garage (model larger). The stair to the sleeping loft is via the garage. In a minute you are at the lake where you can fish from the dock, swim, skate, depending on the time of year! It is about 2.5 km to the city center and there is bike path almost all the way. Read the “listing” tab regarding children as guests. Bed linens and cleaning can be booked for an extra fee.

The tranquility of the lakes in the forests of Vittsjö

Lovely cottage from the 50s with nice vintage furniture inspired by the same decade. Is the last cottage on the way out on a headland in Vittsjö's lake area, so here you have the peace and quiet, but are still only a walk from shops and trains. The forest is close by and there are lovely hiking areas. Good fishing just meters from the front door. Here you wake up with a view of a beautiful lake! Enjoy the starry sky and the owls' hooting in the evening. From November 1, 2025, we will change one bedroom to a lounge and only accommodate two guests.

Nestled in a rhododendron in the north part of Hjelmsjöborg's park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stuccos, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a paved patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjöns nice tennis courts. In the winter months it can get a little cold, then you have to curl up on the couch and light a fire in the fireplace.

This typical Swedish cottage in the idyllic woods of Småland hosts up to 4 people. The forrestplot of 2400m2 contains lots of blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms for you to pick if you come in late summer or fall. Torpet is located near the forest on the outskirts of Visseltofta a small cozy village with church and nice playground at the homestead and near Helge river. Bathing area with beach and jetty is located in Vesljunga 5 km away. There are farm shops in the area. Excursion destination: Moose safari in Markaryd, Brio lekoseum in Osby, Ikea museum in Älmhult. There are 6 beds, but the house is best suited in size for 4 adults or a family with children.

Newly-built cottage with nice Sparrsjön as a neighbor. Cabin built on an open floor plan and with the idea that it should merge with nature. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on the wooden deck in the direction you wish. Evening swim within 30 meters of the front door, municipal beach with docks is only a 10 minute walk away. Very nice place to stay, clean and fresh. There are those needed and much more. Very nice host couple. Have slept like a princess. Extra plus is that they are allowed to bring a dog🐕💖. Highly recommend.
