When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Cozy holiday house LIELMEŽI located in quiet nature 60km from Riga. Great place to enjoy silence and nature far away from city noises. House has two levels. On the ground floor there is cosy living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sauna. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a small hall with a balcony and toilet. Each bedroom has two single beds that can be transformed into a double bed. Or alternatively - a double bed in each bedroom can be transformed into 2 single beds.

A spacious bed is positioned against a textured wooden wall, featuring soft lighting fixtures on either side. Neutral-toned linens and a light throw blanket create a calming ambiance. A decorative plant adds a touch of greenery, enhancing the room's inviting design.

Everything you need to feel comfortable - to cook and enjoy a meal, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, etc. You can reach Žagarkalns and Ozolkalns skiing tracks within a 5-minute walk, and it takes 7 minutes to reach Gauja National Park nature trails. A 5-minute drive to the city centre, Medieval oldtown, Cesis castle, etc. There is clothes dryer in an especially equipped wardrobe. Guaranteed parking in the yard. Feel like at home!

The lake is located about 90 m from the house in direct line. Private beach is about 150 m form the house across the road.
