Great Lake: Unique, Secluded and Breathtaking Highland Views

EstherRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

Tranquil Launceston Getaway - You'll fall in love!

Will And HuongRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Peter’s place was a great stay for us with our toddler. All essential amenities were clean and very practical (kitchen, bathroom and laundry all well equipped). The location was great, close to city but in a quiet street. We really appreciated the heaters in each bedroom!

Lakeview Cabin-Central Highlands

HowardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A superb cabin, can we call it a cabin, it’s more than that A place to relax looking out to a great view over the lake Very quiet with little to no traffic noise, totally off grid We were careful with our use of water and power only needing one light on for the main room Very comfortable beds, a log fire a good sized fridge, gas cooktop, microwave and hot shower There were games for kids and adults to play and my wife got settled down with one of the novels that were available What wasn’t there to like Not too far from a couple of pubs and fuel and easily within range of Deloraine, Mole creek caves and Cressy plus the other lakes in the area Erin was super helpful with tips on where to go to see or eat and with the log fire too Thank you so much for sharing your holiday home We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Eagles NestIII Mountain Peace Luxury Spa Farmstay

RadhityaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Eagle Nest III is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The view is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and the whole place feels like a dream come true. I was honestly amazed — didn’t expect to find a place this magical. The host was fabulous and gave super clear instructions. The outdoor hot tub is a must — easy to use and perfectly placed to soak in the stunning mountain views. The road to the unit is easy to access, and once you’re there, the peace and calm are unmatched. There’s a cozy fireplace with plenty of firewood, so no worries about keeping warm. Plus, the nearby farm animals (chickens, cows, bunny!) make the whole experience even more delightful. I left feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about my next visit. Highly, highly recommended! :)

New stunning extension. Esk Treehouse Cabin

A beautiful setting and lovely accommodation - we particularly enjoyed the wood burner as the evenings were cold. Such gorgeous views in the morning as the fog lifted over the valley. We would happily stay again.

Clearwater Cabin - Off Grid - Eco Friendly

Nicole Renz ManugasRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Perfect for an off the grid vacation. Thomas was kind enough to warm up the place prior to arrival and prepared some bread and wine. Good communication, explaining how the power source works since we visited during winter. Rest of amenities as listed on post. Thanks again mate

What a beautiful place in the most stunning setting. No detail has been spared - everything is so beautifully thought through and considered. It was pristinely clean and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a wonderful addition after a long day of exploring! We would recommend to anyone. Sarah was a perfect host and super communicative. We’d love to come back.

We had the most amazing time , the cabin is super cute and cozy, and the view is honestly next level. Waking up to that scenery each morning was unreal. Everything was clean, comfy, and well thought out. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking to relax and soak in some seriously stunning views!

Tallen Lodge

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family had a wonderful time at the Great Lake. It was such an authentic shack, had all the amenities we needed and the kids really loved getting off their technology and into the bush. Plenty of cooking items, the fire made it cosy and warm and we felt like we were at a home away from home. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the swings, and loved it was a short walk to the lake and fishing! exploring the bush and lake was so much fun! Definitely would come again!

Top Place Mountain Retreat - The Highland Suite

HafizahRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had a lovely stay here with lots of space for the kids to run and roam, something we don’t have back home. But more significant to us was the personal touch. Pat came down to deliver eggs and milk and the next night, offered to light up the bonfire. Kids had fun learning how to do so. After which, he offered the kids a ride to see pademelons in the estate. They were so thrilled to see some. It’s the personal touch that means a lot to us. Of course, the space itself is lovely. It’s an hour half drive to cradle mountain but hospitality, privateness, calmness of the place more than make up for it!

Purple Paradise Farm Retreat

SatokoRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thank you Stuart for having us for two nights! Even though we arrived later than expected it was very nice of him to greet us in the dark. The produce basked all harvested from his farm was the special touch we were looking forward to experience, and we were able to enjoy nice meals with what he can offer at the time, even though the colder season prevents from giving us lots of kind of produce. It still was plenty! He took us around for a short tour around his farm to show what he does and we loved the time here chatting with him as much as enjoying the quiet time off from everyday work. We will hopefully be back again!

Your off-grid escape in Tasmania - Camp Nowhere

MoniqueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The nowhere cabin is exactly as described. The perfect retreat for 2 away from the world where you can just unwind and be still. Perfectly placed to get out and about further afield to do big walks. But we were happy to hide from the cold and rain inside with a big fire. The decor and styling is so perfect and makes the cabin feel like home. So many little touches that are genius. Ashley let us check out late as the cleaner was going to be late coming in. Just such an amazing time was had.
