Sheep Camp Cabin

We had a very enjoyable time at the Airbnb. The Airbnb is by our standards a bit unusual since it is "off the grid". We have never stayed in a place "off the grid" and it was a pleasant surprise. The casita was very comfortable and rustic. The large, covered porch made for very nice mornings and evenings. The Airbnb had everything we needed (stove, cooking utensils, and a sink that uses captured rainwater!). The lack of electricity was not problem (we brought a cooler for our food and head lamps for reading). It was a great stay. The stars at night were ....ummm... stunning. Also, our hosts were very attentive and made sure that everything was OK.
A compact bathroom is depicted, featuring a shower-tub combination with a grab bar for safety. A toilet is positioned next to a single sink with a countertop. Shelves hold neatly stacked towels, while a mirror reflects the light from an overhead fixture.

Newly Renovated, Pets Allowed

I recommend this place to anyone traveling with pets. I don’t normally choose to do a hotel with my pets, which is why I booked through Airbnb, however this hotel was extremely pet friendly. I do recommending reading looking at the photos and its location before booking. This hotel is right off I40 which was extremely convenient for my family. We used DoorDash to get us dinner so being near restaurants wasn’t a concern of ours. I was hesitant when reading reviews but this place is exactly as advertised. I was pleasantly surprise at its cleanliness (it is pet friendly, however has no smell of pet)! My shower was peeling and needed to be refinished but who really takes baths at a hotel lol, it was clean and the shower felt great. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but good! My only critic (which I believe is getting fixed) is the pet fee. For my specific situation I booked 2 guest and 2 pets, but was charged additionally for 1 pet upon check in. It was $15 extra

Cabin #3 Mountain cabin - Scenery, nearby hiking!

SusanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Everyone was very nice. I had a “tragedy”. Locked my keys and phone in the car. The entire staff helped. Within an hour, my car was unlocked and I was reunited with my phone. For such a remote location, I was very impressed by the staff and speed of service by the locksmith. Even the locksmith was very friendly. Wonderful trip. Will use Sumatra’s place again!!
