We had a great stay in Friendsville! The place was exactly as described. Super clean and so comfortable. Our hosts were helpful with things we forgot and also very welcoming and friendly. Wanda takes great care in making sure all the comforts of home are provided.

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

Kam accommodated us on short notice as we had to come up quickly due to a family member being hospitalized. The place is so peaceful and on beautiful grounds. It was easy to find and a Tesla charger was outside our door. I will stay here again!

The place was very nice! It was located in a gated community which was quiet and peaceful. The instructions to get into both the community and the house were very clear. All of the homes in the neighborhood were beautiful and well kept. The house exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay there again. Taylor-Made was also very responsive with any questions we had before our stay and everything was easy to find in the house. Thank you for a great weekend!

This stay was perfect for our group of 10! Everything was tidy and clean. I loved the hot tub and pool table. I really loved how each floor had many games. They all came in handy for our rainy weekend. We had pizza from Brenda’s that we were able to walk to. We grilled the next night, which the host kindly has propane available for use. The kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. The beds were comfy and there were many bathrooms that no one really had to share a bathroom. Lastly, the host and her cleaner was so kind to coordinate and bring us extra toilet paper and paper towels very quickly when I reached out. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again.

The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we could possibly need for cooking and family meals, which made things so much easier and more enjoyable. Each room was clean, thoughtfully set up, and comfortable, making it easy for everyone—from kids to adults—to relax and feel at home. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into maintaining the property and providing detailed, easy-to-follow instructions for everything, which we really appreciated. This home made our trip truly special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped retreat in Deep Creek Lake!

We spent a relaxing New Years with two families and several kids and this was perfect. Plenty of space for toddlers and babies but ample privacy. Fireplaces were especially welcome during the 15+ inches of snow we got! Kitchen is well stocked, jetted tubs and jacuzzi were welcome. We also walked to nearby pizza, sports bar and other amenities.

What a treat! The lake house was so spacious, clean, and well appointed. The three floors allowed for lots of together, small group, and alone time options. Our family - three generations including teens and an octogenarian - had a great time cooking together, playing billiards, soaking in the hot tub, playing air hockey, watching movies, and seeing wildlife. Our hosts had great recommendations for restaurants and boat rentals. Wonderful memories were made, and we highly recommend! Thanks for your gracious hospitality, Idalia and Dennys.

Very nice house. Spacious, clean, very new. Well designed. Everyone really liked the home, and the way it's separated between sleeping areas and event/hangout areas. The kids had a blast going out on the frozen lake, and we were only 15 minutes from Wisp. We had 3 small children, and being able to put them to bed while we played games or ate dinner was nice. My only gripe is the check out policy. 10 am is pretty silly. Asking for a silly amount of money to check out any later when no one else is checking in... also silly. We had a 3 month old with us, whose feeding time was 10 am. Having to have everything packed up, feeding the rug-rat off schedule, and then trying to pack the kid up and get in the car was annoying. Overall very positive experience. Nice fixtures.
