We had such a wonderful stay at the Careless Whisper Cabin! It was spotless (air purifier included), and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfy… honestly better than some luxury hotels. The deck and fireplace were our favorite hangout spots. Even with the rain, we spent hours there just soaking in the peaceful vibe. The amenities felt high-end, but the atmosphere was pure cozy cabin warmth… relaxing, inviting, and good for the soul. There were so many thoughtful touches—kids’ utensils, a well-stocked kitchen, both Keurig and drip coffee makers, extra toilet paper, and a sweet welcome gift with a “Congrats” sign for our twins’ graduation. That truly made our hearts melt. Brian was such a wonderful host… responsive, thoughtful, and felt like a distant friend making sure we had the best time. We’ll absolutely be back, and will be recommending this gem to our friends. One of our favorite getaways ever!

Andrew and Knotty Dog Lodge were awesome. Very accommodating and responsive. The area is beautiful with a ton of stuff to do. We played disc golf, fished and used their wiffle ball equipment. The hot tub was great as well. Being the last house in the street, we had a lot of privacy and a great amount of space. This was our second time at this location and we will definitely be back!

Quiet, Cozy, and clean. This roomy home nearby Deep Creek Lake was perfect for our family weekend - tucked away and private, but offered great space and excellent ambiance for our small group. Would recommend and go back again in the future!

My husband and I were looking to spend a relaxing weekend away with our dog, and the “Maine retreat” fit the bill perfectly. The cabin is on a quiet cul de sac in a peaceful area yet just minutes away by car to local activities, restaurants etc..Cabin was clean and thoughtfully stocked with anything you might need! I noticed they even had birthday candles!

Decently renovated double-wide Airbnb. Reasonably clean. Private back porch with a hot tub. 5 stars for the very responsive and super helpful host!!! The location was excellent, just minutes from Wisp Resort and town! Great value!

Matt’s place was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed using the hot tub and fire place , and played a bit of the piano. There were a lot of space for us and the place was cozy and felt like home. Matt was communicative and made everything relaxing.

Chelsea’s cottage was absolutely perfect for our quick ski getaway weekend to Deep Creek! We especially appreciated how clean things were at arrival, and how well set-up the place was for our three small girls. They loved the bunk beds and having a few kids’ books around was a great addition to bedtime. Chelsea was responsive and welcoming. All around, a great experience!

Cozy and clean stay with a good layout for our group of 5. Loved the lakefront location, deck with the hot tub, and proximity to boating and amenities in town!

The house was beautiful and so was the setting. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very spacious. The only thing disappointing was there was 8 of us and we brought steaks to grill. As nice as the house was , I was shocked at the tiny table top grill. We ran out of the small propane bottles as there were only two that were half full. I would recommend a full size grill for a house advertised as accommodating 11 people. Other than that everything was great!!

Great way to spend a few days winding down. The lake was close to the house. Our dogs enjoyed a morning swim and a nice long walk on the trails to dry off and release some energy.

We had a great stay. The house accommodated our 6 adults and 5 grandkids very nicely. There were board games but you should bring your own games for small kids also life jackets for them. Ping pong table and dart board inside the house was nice. We played on the golf course. Very challenging. We utilized the indoor pool at the clubhouse. The canoe was available for usage on the lake for paddling and fishing. The beach was sandy and nice. It was roped off and no fishing around it. Hiking trails were grassy and maintained. The clubhouse had a very nice workout room. There was a nice bar and restaurant at the clubhouse. The bartender was very nice. There was free miniature golf available for those who stayed there. There was a shop n save grocery store 10 min. away. A Walmart superstore was 20 min away. We would come back again.

I can’t tell you enough how great this place was. It would have been an unfortunate and lousy weekend because it rained the whole time we were there and my original itinerary was canceled but my host Susan made up for that with a closet full of board games (drinking game as well😁). The place was so cozy and room for everyone to just lounge out and be in their own space. It really felt like a home away from home. Anything you needed she had ready, except of course food, but when we did cook, she also had spices, that was a surprising treat. All in all, I can’t wait to rent out this place again, rain or shine. Great vacation. Wendy was the best host we have ever had—responsive and generous. The house itself was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever been in. We loved the use of the kayaks and would absolutely come back to enjoy Alpine Lake here again. Very relaxed, friendly vibe within the whole community.

This was second time staying in Millstone Cottage when visiting Alpine Lake. It’s a cozy place, located near Club House, and perfect for a couple. Did not use kayak as we did last trip due to unseasonably cool weather. Hiked the Overlook Trail, which goes up the hill behind cottage to Gazebo at top of old ski run for a great view of lake. We came away relaxed and refreshed, and that’s what a weekend retreat is all about.

Home was stunning and the host was so kind to allow me to check in early when i needed to. Communication was great and we had everything we needed. The woods on the outside of the property make it feel very cozy, would be happy to stay again

Cozy space for our family of 5. My kids loved the ping pong table the most. It was convenient to the highway, grocery store, and other shops.

Our group had an amazing stay here this weekend. It was a peaceful getaway, private yet close to local attractions. We were worried about our weekend being rainy/cold but the indoor and outdoor amenities made the weekend perfect, regardless of the weather. The hot tub was clean and the fire pit was relaxing on the non rainy days and the inside game room and basement space were perfect when we needed to be inside. The kitchen was a perfect size for cooking a few larger meals and had pretty much all you would need. Overall, great house and experience. Thanks again!

This was our second stay at this beautiful cabin! My husband and I love the private location, the peacefulness of taking advantage of the hot tub, sitting on the deck, or around the fire pit area watching the wildlife. The location so private and peaceful, but only minutes away from anything you could want to do in the area. The pics are very accurate as to how comfy and cozy the inside of the cabin is with a kitchen that has just about everything you could possibly need! We are already planning our 3rd trip back!

Cozy, comfortable and peaceful, great place to relax and tune out the world with the benefit of being only 5-20 minute drives for various adventures and attractions in the area (state parks, hiking, waterfalls, restaurants, bars, horseback riding, the lake, etc...). Danielle is a wonderful host and has a detailed book with plenty of activities and amenities to enhance your trip as you see fit. I look forward to renting this gem again as soon as I'm able.

My mom and I wanted a little weekend away & Chef’s apartment was just what we needed! The space is clean & cozy. The king-sized bed is very comfortable. There were gorgeous plants everywhere, fresh fruit on the table, freshly picked flowers on the counter, cool books throughout the apartment, & even a corner with comfy pillows, a mediation chair, & drums! Chef kindly helped us get our bags up to the apartment. We met his lovely dog, Pacha, who is so sweet. We woke up each day & enjoyed an amazing breakfast made of fresh fruit & veggies & enjoyed the conversations we had with Chef while he cooked. How many times in life do you get to wake up and have someone cook you a farm-to-table meal? And he made it 100% vegan for us—amazing! We took his recommendations and checked out Oakland, MD. It was a cute little town and we particularly enjoyed the antique shop, Englanders. Swallow Falls State Park is worth checking out, too. This was a really unique, beautiful stay. Thanks, Chef!

This is the perfect couple's getaway. Tucked away in a private riverfront setting. The house featured nice amenities and was professionally decorated. It was an easy drive to Deep Creek, Frostburg, and West Virginia.

It was so peaceful and quiet… absolutely beautiful place. Her home is absolutely gorgeous and it’s got so much room. Everything was there that we needed to use just bought a few things but that was it everything else was there. The only thing I wish was different was the check out time. It’s at 10am I wish it was like 11 or 12. I had to wake all my kids up at 730am make sure breakfast was made and everything was packed and put in the car by 10am. Just felt like we were in a rush. But honestly it’s not an inconvenience it’s just early with kids. But great for people who doesn’t have children. We will definitely go back to this place. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Our stay at the tiny house was amazing! Jeff was extremely helpful before our trip Which helped us get so many things in order. He gave stellar recommendations which were spot on. His place was immaculate and had an amazing vibe , especially the music and book selection. The outdoor space was so cool and well kept. We brought so much extra and needed none of it because his place was stocked with everything we needed. And what made the difference was all the little touches he put: dog treats for our pup, popcorn for our kiddos, and wine for us. So specific and so appreciated. We will definitely be booking a stay at the tiny house Deep Creek again soon. :)
