Vacation rentals with a fire pit in McGaheysville

The place is right by the river and really calm and quiet. Enjoyed the view of the river, hot tub and the fully stocked kitchen. Everything was just perfect.

We had a great stay! The home is in a great location and had plenty of space for our family of 5. Our kids loved the air hockey table. We were just 5 mins away from the Massanutten resort activities. Aleksandra’s home was clean and comfy!

We needed a place to stay for one night between a visit to Melrose Caverns and spending the following day at the Massanutten waterpark. The Flower on the Mountain house was just perfect for that. Our family had a great time hanging out and especially enjoyed the games on the infinity table. Unfortunately it rained most of the time so we didn't get to use any of the amenities on the deck but they looked great. The kids have already asked that we stay there again next time we visit Massanutten.

The house was beautiful, with lots of space, tons of extras & amenities provided, very clean, etc. Lauren is great! She gives so much info before you even arrive, making your stay very easy and feeling right at home. She is great at communicating. We had one small issue during our stay and she sent a professional to deal with it asap. Highly recommend!

We had an absolute amazing week with family! There were more than enough activities to do inside the house that we didn’t really even utilize everything! The space was also very large and accommodated everyone well. The kitchen was stocked with most necessities and the second fridge downstairs was great. The carpet was definitely on the older side with some stains, but it still felt clean. I wish there was a pantry or a cabinet to put groceries away, but there was good counter space to use. Jonathan was extremely responsive to questions while we were there and even when we left! I have a feeling we will be staying here many more times in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at Ashely’s Airbnb. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and easy visit. The beds were super comfy, everyone slept great, and the game room was a huge hit with the whole family. It was the perfect space for relaxing and spending quality time together. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing! We rented this for our annual extended family vacation and everyone agreed this was the best AirBnB we've stayed at on these trips. Jonah and Fern were so kind and responsive in all their communications, the house manual had everything we needed, and the home itself was beautiful, clean, and fun. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, the best-stocked kitchen we've had at a rental, lots of nice amenities (pool, theatre, hot tub, etc), and a very peaceful neighborhood. We'd love to stay again and would recommend Splash at the Slopes to anyone traveling to the area in any season. Thank you for a lovely and memorable trip for our family!

Alonna is a lovely host. The home is beautiful and well stocked. She Welcomed us into the beautiful space and checked in to ensure we everything we needed. Great vacation space.

Suzy’s place was the perfect spot to stay! From booking to checkout, everything went smoothly. The apartment was extremely clean, as well as comfortable. The bedrooms are large and provided extra blankets and pillows. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and she provided coffee, creamer, and snacks! I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I absolutely loved staying at Cindy’s home. We drove up right after the last day of school for a relaxing weekend in the mountains. This place was perfect for our weekend trip away from all our hectic schedules. Cindy was a gracious host and provided great instructions to the property. We wanted a place to lay back and enjoy each other’s company. This place hit the spot! The views were incredible in the morning and the surrounding attractions and restaurants gave my wife and I plenty of things to do. We were not there much in the day but once we returned, it was so comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely book again if we are in the area again. Thank you Cindy for welcoming us in your home it was very cozy and beautiful.

Great suite walking distance or very short drive to downtown - would stay again for a future weekend visit

Jennifer's place is a great stay! We were there for just one night and it was perfect for access to downtown Harrisonburg to meet up with family. very quiet and peaceful setting in the countryside. We did not hear the hosts the live in the space above the apartment. additional information/instructions were around the apartment that were very helpful. we would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

this is a lovely place. The host?, Glenn, was so very helpful and friendly. He lives above the guest house. Everything is very peaceful and pretty. The river and firepit are just across the street. We enjoyed our time Although the river was too high for us to use the kayaks

We are repeat guests at Paula’s and it’s always a great time. Visiting our JMU Duke and staying at the Southern Charm Retreat is always fun, convenient to the campus and relaxing. House is roomy and super clean. The game room is a fun bonus and the back yard deck is beautiful, well maintained and great for entertaining. Thanks as always Paula !

Apartment is one of our favorite AirBNB’’s. Roomy, well stocked, very comfortable bed, very private, safe neighborhood. We plan to come back to this apartment. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful restful space. Close to Shenandoah, Massanutten water park was a short drive, and within 10 minutes of a few restaurants. Host Kara was extremely responsive- we arrived during a storm and the electricity had gone out and she kept us updated- it was fixed by the time we got back from dinner.

The cabin is nestled in green, one can hear birds chirp all day. The cabin was as it appears in the pictures, clean and all amenities available. We enjoyed the hot tub.

This place was gorgeous! Waking up and having coffee while watching the horses was a dream. Very close to Shenandoah and several other activities. Highly recommend this home away from home!

One of my most favorite stays in Va. beautiful scenery from the deck and down to the river. Very peaceful and secluded. Highly recommend and look forward to book in the future.

This is a lovely property, the porch and swing alone make it worth the stay! The beds were very comfortable and the place is cozy and styled beautifully

MaryAnn is very responsive. She answered questions quickly and gave recommendations that were very helpful. The house is on a pretty lot and is quiet and private. The house was set up well and we lacked for nothing. She even had a crock pot for us to use! There were plenty of beds for the 7 of us and the dining room table was huge and fit us all for fun game nights. The couches were also huge and we enjoyed time relaxing on them and on the screened in back porch. The house was very clean and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery for our use. The check-in time wasn't very flexible but I don't think she has any control over that as she is waiting for the cleaning crew to finish. I would recommend this property for anyone coming to the resort.

The Host provided clear instructions on how to get there, get in, and any rules or suggestions on the home and what was around the local area. We liked how many games she had in the basement family room and how certain items were stocked prior to our arrival, such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, coffee and sugar and some kitchen/office items not normally available like tape or scissors. The last came in handy for hanging our graduation decorations. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our busy weekend with some relaxation and family time.

We came up for a quick trip for our godsons graduation. Our schedule was hectic, but we truly enjoyed the little down time we did get. I napped…my husband fished… it was a perfect place for our trip. Thoughtful things around the house that came in so handy for us. From wonderful snack, fresh water, to shampoo, face wash, hair dryers, qtips and so many more wonderful surprises. We felt spoiled.
