Chestnut Lodge is situated in an acre of private gardens set in a quiet rural location, with far reaching countryside views. The Lodge dates back to circa 1750, originally the cow barns on the farm. We purchased the property in 2017 and renovated one of the cow barns to the Lodge adding all the original character with salvaged exposed oak beams throughout and furnished to a luxury standard. Peaceful, rustic and romantic lodge in the grounds of an 18th century mill house on the river Wensum at Lyng Mill, North Norfolk. Swim in the river or light the wood burner, get back to nature in this cosy romantic setting. The Lodge sits in a wooded area underneath a giant red cedar tree. It is also on the banks of the mill pond, a perfect wild swimming spot with its own outdoor shower. It is bright and airy in summer but warm and cosy in the winter months. We love dogs, all welcome.

Characterful 3 Bed Cosy Cottage.

Quaint cottage in the lovely village of Mattishsll. This home has a cosy living room, with a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, including dishwasher. The bathroom is downstairs with a walk in shower. 3 good size bedrooms upstairs, one of which is a walk through room. The stairs are typical of an old Norfolk Cottage, and are narrow and windy, so may not be suitable for the less able. The property has a small enclosed front garden and to the rear has a courtyard style enclosed garden.
