Beachfront vacation rentals in Matala beach

we had a lovely week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with beautiful sea views. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort in a great location for visiting the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Very nice Villa and very friendly host. Her father is also living there and takes care of the garden. You can park there easily. The equipment and stuff that is available is as promised in the description. Location is actually not right next to the beach, but 10-15mins by foot, but by car it’s only 2mins. The beach there is amazing. The water is quite flat for a while, which is nice for playing in the water and probably for kids. Also the restaurants (especially Seven) there are really good and have a good price.

Perfect location, 20m to the beach, many restaurants, friendly people, parking spot bit tricky but never more than 200m. Communication perfect, very proactive. Exactly as the pictures shows.

We felt very comfortable. The property is in a great location. Restaurants and the beach can be reached by river. Parking is free in front of the apartment. We were always able to reach the host and he gave us good tips. We would always come back.

Jeronimo is a really great host. Very, very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcome right away. The accommodation is beautifully located above the small Soudabucht with magnificent views. Two recommended taverns are within walking distance. Jeronimo's bar is also great and not to be missed. We highly recommend the beautiful, simple but functional accommodation.

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience - 5 stars across the board! If you're looking for a quiet exclusive place to stay, that offers all amenities for a great price - this is it. High quality furnishings, perfectly clean, super friendly and attentive host, amazing location just a few steps from the beach, basically no traffic - all you hear is the ambient sound of the sea, great restaurants close by,... the list goes on. Highly recommend!

The accommodation in Kokkini Hani was very nice overall. Everything was clean and well maintained, everything you need was really there – from kitchen utensils to beach towels. The location is a real highlight: right on the beach, you can hear the sea when you wake up. The host was very friendly, helpful and easily accessible, which made the stay even more pleasant. A small downside: The room layout is very open, which means there is no real privacy in the individual rooms. If you value separate bedrooms, you should consider this. Still a great place to stay in a fantastic location – perfect for a relaxing beach vacation!

We stayed at Nikos place as a family of 4 ( 2 adults 2 children 5 and 6 year old). we had a amazing time and the pool and garden with sea views are just amazing. beach is also a 5 min walk from the property. nice supermarket within walking distance and the caffe 20m away serves amazing coffee. The beds were very comfortable which makes all the difference. I would definitely come back and recommend it.

The stay was good, private and secluded. All listed amenities were present. Pool and BBQ were crucial to us, also worth to mention: there is an A/C unit in each room. Wifi was perfectly stable. You can hear the road noises, but it is manageable, it didn't affect our experience.

Great place! Beautiful view. Wonderful outdoor area with pool. Paying extra for pool heating was worse it. Sea shore across the street from the villa but might need to walk couple of minutes to sand beach with umbrellas. Grill was available per request. Some restaurants are within walking distance, but I would recommend renting a car. Hosts are very responsive.

Beautiful, modern, very well-equipped villa with efficient air conditioning. Excellent welcome: fruit basket, bottle of wine and enough to make a first meal – a real plus, especially with the first supermarket 30 minutes away. The view is exceptional, exactly as shown in the photos. The host was very available, especially to help us rent a car. A few details to note: the exterior differs a little from the photos, with overgrown plants that partially obscure the view and tall weeds. Access to the pool is not direct from the terrace (passage through the entrance). No mosquitoes during our stay, effective mosquito nets. On the other hand, many wasps (not aggressive). The host came twice to fill the pool: the first time with warning, the second without warning, which was a bit disturbing. Despite these points, we had a great time and would recommend this villa.

We loved it! A couple of suggestions: Would be helpful to tell guests that they will park behind the building and enter the apartment from the back, not the front of the building.. Would be nice to have a lounge chair for the balcony.

Very spacious, modern apt with a beautiful balcony. The street noise below made it difficult to sit out and talk there, but the view of the ocean was very nice. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and neat. Mihalis gave us a great recommendation for dinner nearby that was lovely. We had a nice stay here

We spent 5 nights in this wonderful cottage and enjoyed every second. The location is sensational. Manos and Kate are perfect hosts, always available. There were even fruits, wine, water and raki 😊 Clear recommendation for anyone seeking tranquility and relaxation.

Niki and Cristos were really lovely and friendly hosts. Fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and cake, wine etc were provided and left in the apartment. The apartment was bright and clean. They treated us as family and really made us feel at home. Surrounded by the most amazing mountains. Beautiful people on beautiful Bali. What more could you ask for? Eif charisto! Great stay at Kerames. We stayed as a couple with a baby of 5 months, and it was very appropriate. Especially as the bedrooms are at a different floor from the rest. The place feels very peaceful and the view is stunning. Very authentic village full of charm, with cute restaurants. The house looks great, like the photos or even better. There are many shade spots around the house. Interior is overall well equipped. I overall highly recommend the place.

The accommodation offered a spectacular sea view, which made every morning a special experience. The apartment was modern and extremely clean, which immediately ensured well-being. I was particularly impressed by the helpfulness of the owner. At my request, the towels were promptly renewed, and when an unexpected sandstorm arose, he immediately took care of cleaning the accommodation. The location was ideal, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The beaches were breathtaking, and I enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear water. The Go providers on site were extremely helpful and gave me valuable tips that enriched my stay. Communication was uncomplicated as they spoke fluent English. Overall, it was an unforgettable vacation that I can recommend to anyone.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing time in Kalamaki. The place was perfect for us. We enjoyed the sea view every day with sunsets and the tranquility. The short distance to the beach, restaurants or supermarket was also brilliant. Communication was perfect from start to finish. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a quiet but ingenious location, this is the place to be. We can definitely recommend the hosts.
