We had the most incredible stay! The house was absolutely beautiful spacious, clean, and so well-equipped with everything we needed. The setting was nothing short of magical, with breathtaking views of the Crocodile River right from the property. Tim was a fantastic host friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful with recommending local safari providers, which made planning our days so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend!

Our stay was absolutely unforgettable! Each morning, we were greeted by kudu, wildebeest, warthogs, impala, and bushbuck right outside our doorstep—it felt like stepping into a wildlife documentary. At night, the haunting calls of lions in the distance added a sense of wild magic to the experience. The host's guidebook was incredibly helpful and led us to some truly amazing adventures—the highlight being our unforgettable visit to Kruger National Park with Kruger Pride Safaris. This place offers unbeatable value for money and an experience that’s both relaxing and exhilarating. Without a doubt, one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Perfect balance between luxury and bushveld living. Everything is there - all amenities you may. We felt right at home. Kids enjoyed viewing the game safely from the veranda. And it is very convenient that Marloth Park is so close to the Crocodile Gate @ the Kruger. Looking forward to our next visit at Selah on Butterfly. Thank you to our excellent host Pauline.

offered excellent value and an authentic African bush experience. I’d highly recommend it for a romantic weekend, a solo retreat, or even as a base to explore Kruger. I’m already planning a return trip!…thank you for the wonderful experience…next time I’m staying longer.

We enjoyed our stay at Elephant Cottage. The privacy, peacefulness, and beauty of the area was memorable. We also enjoyed the cottage, which was well designed and had everything one needed. The bed was super comfy, and we slept very well. Excellent overall, good value for money, highly recommended.

The place is beautiful, modern and comfortable. I recommend it to anyone visiting Marloth and I would certainly book it again.

Frank was a great host - very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The place looks exactly like the photos and had everything we needed. It’s a peaceful, tranquil spot - perfect for a quiet weekend away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and we even spotted a few animals roaming around, which added to the charm. Just make sure to follow Frank’s directions closely, as it’s easy to get lost otherwise. Overall, a lovely stay!

Chris and Zed were gracious, thoughtful hosts. More importantly, their cottage was stellar accomodation. Far better than the pictures suggest. The kitchen was well equipped, bedding was extremely comfy. We were delighted to have a washing machine. But above all the best thing about this place is that river view. Wow! Being able to see the Kruger from our room itself was such a treat. Would stay again 10/10

The place was spotlessly clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained! Jo-Ann was great with communication and even surprised me with birthday balloons, which made the stay extra special. Highly recommended—would definitely return!

Mariette was an incredibly accomodating host. We had some changes to the booking prior to arrival, which she sorted out with us completely. Her place is clean and well furnished. Excellent for a few days in Marloth. It's also located less than a 30 seconds walk to the river/fence bordering Kruger. Lovely lovely lovely 😍
