Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mansfeld-Südharz

We were in the house with 4 adults and 4 children and had a great stay. In Thale and the surrounding area you can do a lot and the Bodetal is within walking distance of the house. The house is well equipped, has a beautiful garden and is simply charming and cozy. The host makes a personal welcome and check-in, everything was very straightforward. Please note that a tourist tax is still payable to the city of Thale on site. In any case, we were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay in the cozy coach house! Despite its central location it was very quiet. A small note about the kitchen: it is absolutely sufficient for classics like pasta with tomato sauce – but if you decide to fry meatballs, you should plan a few hours for ventilation afterwards :) Nevertheless: an all-round successful stay. We will be happy to come back.

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

I spent my first solo vacation (with dog) in Stefan's chalet. I felt right at home. The chalet is very cozily furnished, in the kitchen everything necessary is available. You can start very nice hikes from there and are also within 30 minutes walking distance of the village center. An absolute highlight is the terrace. There you have sun all day.

Nice place to stay. Pleasant beds. Regional charm of the house. The dining area with its bench was cozy, had a great view and atmosphere and immediately became our favorite place. Large garden, where the fox sometimes stops by. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Spices, tea, coffee filters and the like are also basic equipment there and do not need to be brought along. We left some of it there ourselves, because we had bought it before. Restaurants are within walking distance. All in all, we were very satisfied.

We stayed at Stephan and Julia's place for 2 nights and were super satisfied. The little cottage is very cozy and nicely decorated. The bathroom is almost as good as new and the small kitchen is also equipped with everything you could possibly need. Overall, everything was very clean and the cuddly cat, who kept watch at our doorstep, made us very happy :) The city center is super fast and easy to reach on foot. With the Harzticket, which you get for the tourist tax, you can also easily travel by bus throughout the district. Stephan gave us a lot of good tips and ideas for leisure activities upon arrival. Everything was perfect and we highly recommend this place!

Very nice accommodation! Quiet area. The cottage has all the comforts and has a lovely fireplace. The communication with Daniel was very good.

Beautifully located & super friendly family. The apartment was cozily furnished & everything you need was available. Everything was clean & well maintained. The garden is idyllic & invites you to linger. We felt right at home.

The AirBnB room was a real stroke of luck. Once you make it up the 4 floors, you will be rewarded with a real gem. The furnishings are lovingly designed and everything is really well thought out. A bakery for breakfast is just across the street and you can look out of the bathroom directly onto the grounds of the Franckschen Stiftungen. Both hosts are super friendly and helpful. We would have loved to have stayed the same.

the apartment is beautifully decorated, you feel at home. Super clean, the kitchen perfectly equipped, nothing is missing, the welcome gift in the form of fresh fruit, water, wine, flowers, snacks made us very happy. Bathroom very spacious, great big shower, washing machine including dryer. Bedroom with plenty of storage space, the bed a dream, rarely slept so well. On foot 5 to 10min to the center, location of the apartment perfect, very quiet, parking. Stefan was very quick and helpful to respond to questions, his parents are warm, give tips for excursions or restaurants. Therefore, an absolutely relaxed vacation, I'd love to come back.

Very cozy small apartment, right on the Zorge. When the weather is nice, you can linger on the terrace and watch the river. The apartment has everything you need... Nina and Uwe are great hosts.

There were four of us for a week at Lena and Christian's beautiful farm. We felt at home, the mill is really extremely idyllic. The children had fun swimming in the river and on the playground, we were in the Harz a lot for hiking. The property is really a dream and the two hosts put an incredible amount of energy into the care and maintenance of the garden and the mill. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back. Thank you, dear hearts ♥️

We had a wonderful stay at Anke and Sebastian's. The place was as described and the great garden rounded it all off. Glad to come back!

The apartment is modern and tastefully decorated, the location to the city center is perfect. The only downside: The supermarket next door was supplied from 6 am, so our days started quite early…… The contact with Sebastian was great! Everything invites you to come back.

You immediately feel at home in the apartment. Everything was as described and everything is also shown in the photos - only in reality it was even more beautiful. A great city apartment, it doesn't get any more central. Very good that a parking space is available - would otherwise be difficult in the old town. Our dog also felt comfortable - since he is very vigilant, there were of course some situations at the beginning due to the noise transmission - but he got used to that too! All around a perfect stay in a great, lovingly furnished apartment right in the historic old town of the beautiful city of Bad Langensalza! We will be back!

We felt very comfortable and well cared for. Ulrike got back to us quickly with questions and the apartment was clean. Restaurants and, for example, the Samson pit were within walking distance and there was a folder with tips and suggestions for activities. The guest cards were also taken care of. A really charming old apartment that was simply combined with modern furnishings. Great color concept that runs like a common thread through the apartment. Since we were only there for 2 days, we mostly stayed in the kitchen, which captivated us from the beginning. The apartment is very clean . The city center is within walking distance and. Shopping facilities are plentiful "almost around the corner." The communication was great, clear instructions, so there is no need to ask where to find something. Simply great. Olivia is a great host. We found her apartment exactly as described. It is lovingly decorated and very comfortable. It has everything you need in a vacation apartment to feel comfortable. In addition, Olivia provides her guests with toiletries, some basic food items if shopping was not possible, and a delicious 🍷 wine. We can recommend the apartment without reservation, free parking is available and the residential area is totally quiet and relaxing. After our hikes nearby, we were able to sleep like a log. We spent a week in Olivia's apartment and could have stayed longer. It was our first visit to Bad Sachsa and certainly not the last. Good infrastructure ensures a comfortable stay. We will be happy to come back and thank 🙏 Olivia for the lovely stay. 🤩👍🏼

We spent a few nice days in Goslar with our friends and 2 young children. The place was super nice, perfect for our needs and left nothing to be desired. All communication and handling was friendly and straightforward. If we travel to the region again, we would immediately choose this apartment again.

Both the apartment and its host Antje are highly recommended. The arrangements were always friendly and helpful. The apartment is easily accessible in the center of the city. However, it is still in a quiet location. We will be happy to come back!
