Cabin vacation rentals in Manchester

Once again, we had an amazingly peaceful and relaxing time at our favorite air bnb. We love everything about Isobel's place, the beautiful surroundings, the sauna and of course the hot tub. There were so many birds to watch, too, including Indigo Buntings and Baltimore Orioles! It's a perfect getaway. We can't wait to come back in the fall.

My girlfriend and I escaped to Courtney’s cabin for a week after I graduated law school and before starting bar prep. I really needed a place to just completely relax, and this spot was perfect. The cabin was exactly as described and was incredibly clean. The hot tub was wonderful and I looked forward to using it every day! If you’re a bird watcher, this place is perfect for it—I would sit on the deck with my binoculars and see tons of warblers, woodpeckers, thrushes, and other birds. I think there actually may have been a pileated woodpecker nest nearby because of how frequently I saw them. Everything you need is close without being too close (grocery store, gas station, restaurants, etc). Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning!

I was looking for a stay at a quintessential Vermont cabin with modern amenities and this fit the bill perfectly! It was cute, tastefully decorated, private, and had great amenities. Definitely pay attention to their directions regarding saving information and instructions before leaving cell service because cell service disappears. The cabin was private and located in a serene area, but only 20 minutes from Manchester and an easy drive from Bennington or White River Junction (we did both). HIGHLY recommend both location and hosts! Host was even kind enough to invite us to a local concert.

The perfect place for our family’s ski trip. The cabin is exactly what you picture for a winter VT trip. Charming log cabin with a wood burning stove, but with all the modern comforts. We were only 5 minutes from Okemo and the hot tub was amazing after long ski days. Locked ski locker on the porch was convenient. Great kitchen so we could cook breakfast and hit the slopes early. The host gave clear instructions and lots of helpful recommendations - very friendly and quick to respond. Fire wood and log starters made the cabin cozy at night. Despite all the snow, the driveway was well plowed. It’s a quiet dead end road without traffic. We will definitely be back!

John was an amazing host. Everything was like the pictures. He had binders with things to do around the area, which was amazing. He had trail maps and board games. The sauna and hot tub were both great and well maintained. Would definitely recommend for any family for a relaxing time. The loft was a nice little hiding spot. Plus it was only a 12 minute drive to Jamaica State Park with amazing views and right down the street from Stratton Mountain. I will definitely be booking this again!!!! It was an absolutely amazing weekend with an absolutely huge outdoor fire pit for the whole family!! The kitchen has everything you need just bring food. Towels and sheets are included as well and an absolutely beautiful view from the dining room table!!

Absolutely great place to stay Ben was a great host and I really appreciated the way he had everything laid out and straight forward. Would absolutely go back anytime. If you want to get away for a peaceful relaxing time it can’t be beat. Cooking a great meal in the awesome kitchen then being able to relax in the hot tub

This is a fantastic place. Absolutely beautiful but still only a short drive from restaurants and other things to do. We would certainly like to go back!

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was spotless and comfortable, in beautiful surroundings. John is a super attentive and responsive host. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed the hot tub and making our own meals as the kitchen was well equipped. Close to Bromley amd other great ourdoor and hiking spots. Definitely recommend!

So thankful we were able to get away for a few nights and visit camp! Absolutely beautiful location with gorgeous views. We loved having the summer camp feel and getting to be away from our devices. So many cute cats on property :) also loved the hot tub!!

This was our first family trip since my niece was born and we had an absolutely amazing time at Madeline’s house! Plenty of space to lounge and relax and the layout was perfect so the baby could comfortably sleep while the rest of us were hanging out. A really special weekend that we’ll all cherish forever. Madeline was very helpful and the whole process was a breeze. Would absolutely come back for another weekend getaway!

The cabin was lovely! We went for a little weekend getaway with some friends and it is a great space for such an occasion. There is a surprising amount of space in and around the house and we didn't even use the three season porch. The hosts were also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely a cute little home away from home!

Beautiful/peaceful/cozy location. We were away during daylight hours, but it was wonderful for talking, movies, or just relaxing after dark. Had we been in cooking mode, it appeared to have all the necessary kitchenware for most meals. In deciding what to write for this review, I weighed the pluses and minuses, considered our needs/expectations, group size (5), and recalled lodging options in the general area. All told, this cabin/condo is a top-notch choice. Here are a few thoughts to consider if you plan to stay here: (a) The bedrooms are located upstairs, and the stairs are challenging for larger pieces of luggage. OK for carry-on size bags, duffels, and backpacks, but not large pieces. More than enough room downstairs, so we took advantage of it and only brought the essentials upstairs, leaving the luggage out of the way downstairs. (b) Don't panic if you need additional food, dining, supply, etc, options (Lebanon, NH, for example, is an easy drive). Would stay again! THANKS!

Michelle and this property are absolute gems. The place is spotless, full of clean and well-maintained pots, pans, kitchen utensils, appliances, and tableware. All the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We have learned from past rentals that the home is not always cleaned properly. So we normally wipe down all the counters, faucets and tables prior to use. This is the only home that we’ve rented that came away with ZERO dirt. Michelle’s very prompt communication contains very detailed information regarding the house and things to-do around the area. We are in awe of this house and Michelle. We hope that all future renters continue to respect the property so that many more can continue to enjoy it for years to come.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The views from the home and the surrounding area were amazing and we found ourselves just slowing down a lot on our drive there to take it all in. Our favorite parts were the hot tub which was so relaxing especially with the backdrop of nature behind us and the amazing kitchen where we cooked all of our meals each day. Most things were around 20 minutes out so it was a very stay at home stay so we really appreciated the effort they made at making the home the main attraction. The host was very communicate and helped solve a minor issue we had right away which was a great experience. Our least favorite part was having to leave! Overall we look forward to coming back again in the future to such a cozy home.

We had a wonderful week once again at this beautiful, cozy cabin. It is always spotlessly clean and comfortable. Adam and Filipa are exceptional hosts - very kind and responsive. The location is perfect - easy to get into town to enjoy restaurants and to ski at Mt. Snow and even though we got a lot of snow and ice the driveway was plowed and sanded to make it safe for travel. I highly recommend this home for your trip to Southern Vermont. I can't wait to return!

We have been coming back to the red house with our children every year for the past 7-8 years. It’s a magical, peaceful place, a place like no other. The cabin has everything needed and we always find it in great condition.

The Clubhaus was the perfect private getaway my girls and I were looking for. The area was secluded and beautiful, but not too far from local favorites that we felt out of the way. It was the most relaxing and homey place I’ve stayed to date- I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the serenity again!

A very clean, cozy, and comfortable home! We came to ski at Okemo and were pleased that the house is only about a 10 minute drive from the resort and the town of Ludlow where there are great restaurants and shops. The living area of the home is spacious and great for hanging out - there were tons of movies on DVD and video games to enjoy. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for cooking meals at home. The beds were comfy. Overall a wonderful stay! We hope to be back in the future.

Spent a beautiful weekend at this cottage. The property is beautiful. Lovely to hear the birds and view the gardens. It rained most of our trip but we didn’t mind because it was so restorative to hunker down and relax here. Well stocked kitchen. Nice bedding. Close to Brattleboro and easy access to hiking/farms etc. Kathleen was the perfect amount available. We’re sorry we didn’t get to meet you in person!

I had a great stay! Very peaceful location. The cabin is very comfortable, spacious, and had everything I needed. I spent two of my days working from the back deck (which has been set up with some great shade and a table to work from!) and loved watching all the birds and squirrels visiting the feeder. Marty was a great host -- very friendly and available. I would definitely stay here again!

Marinas little red cabin was perfect for our ski trip! The WiFi is a little rough but we didn’t spend much time on our phones Bring dvd’s (the collection is solid but more the better) Perfect distance to okemo, Stowe is less than two hours so it was great! The cabin felt so cozy and felt right at home! Would def book again!

Our weekend stay at the cabin was exactly what we hoped for. Denis’s place had everything for a comfortable yet low key weekend. He was very communicative, friendly and helpful before and during our stay. The location was quiet and beautiful but also close to town. We hope to stay again next time we’re in Brattleboro!

We had a wonderful stay at Ali and Carson’s cabin! They were incredibly helpful and welcoming hosts. The Mountain View from the cabin is absolutely stunning, even with the rainy weather, it was breathtaking. We also enjoyed exploring the charming nearby towns, and our two dogs had a great time as well. Despite the rain, we loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back when the weather is better. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Brian’s off grid cabin! His directions were very helpful and made navigating the generator, camp shower, and other on-site details super easy to understand and execute. His property is beautiful and peaceful. We’re already looking at our calendars for another time to visit. Our dog, Stumpy, very much enjoyed the outdoor access and pond. He didn’t want to leave!
