Just Wow!! It was a awesome stay,it was just beautiful to sit on the porch relaxing listening to the birds all the beautiful trees around the home. Very spacious very lovely inside also. The jacuzzi in the evening was very relaxing ,It was a us moms get away from stress lol too bad it was short trip .Thank you Gabriella for being attentive ❤️all the ladys gave it a 5 stars and more,hope to be back soon for sure we all love it my friends mom said she will never forget it ❤️🙏 I 💯% recommend this beautiful cabin 🌻🙏❤️

5-Star Review We had an amazing stay at Aida’s cabin in Wrightwood! Our group of 13, including two kids and two dogs, fit comfortably thanks to all the beds, sleep-able couches, and mattress pads provided. The cabin had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which was well-stocked for cooking family meals. We spent our time eating, drinking, playing in the snow, and enjoying karaoke—such a fun and memorable trip! The area is secluded and felt very safe, giving us the perfect retreat. Aida was a fantastic host, greeting us on arrival and giving a detailed walkthrough of the property. I’d definitely stay here again, especially in the summer to enjoy even more of what the cabin and the area have to offer. Highly recommend!

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!

We had an amazing time! The house was perfect! The bedrooms were all very spacious and so inviting! The whole house was decorated so beautifully! The hot tub was a big hit and perfect after a long day at the disc golf course. The biggest hit was the record player and the wonderful selection of records! Max was a wonderful host! She was quick to respond when I had questions and left us a delightful baked treat for us! We can't wait to come back!!

If you live in LA and looking to get out of the hustle and bustle without going far, this is perfect location. Not even an hour from me and it felt like i was in a different country. Very romantic and peaceful. There is no TV which is supposed to be the point, but at the end of it I was watching a movie on my laptop on the beyond cozy bed. The cedar hot tub was beyond amazing also. Late night I was worried about getting Postmates, but there were so many places that delivered there (we had to drive down to the main gate to meet the driver, which was its own good time also. So no complaints) Highly recommend this to anyone

Wowed in Wrightwood! Arlene’s place is one of the best accommodations we enjoyed in over a decade of renting places. Very spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated (including a gorgeous “Christmas” tree decorated in a pretty spring season theme accented with white fairy lights which looked so enchanting in the evenings), very generously stocked with helpful supplies and enjoyable amenities, all of which made our trip much more enjoyable and relaxing. For foodies who like to cook, the kitchen is a dream with high end appliances and beautiful expansive white quartz (or marble?) countertops. Loved cooking in there, and it boasts 2 dishwashers making us never having to worry about not being able to fit everything in 1 dishwasher. The backyard looking into the green green forest is so peaceful, private and relaxing. And you should know that Arlene is a very attentive, proactive, caring host who is reliable, responsive, and so hospitable. Thanks Arlene! We’ll be back!

Off the beaten path cottage that truly feels like another world. When you walk in, you feel right at home.

Dani’s place was great! The rooms are spacious, beds comfy, and a large tv perfect for movie nights.

Stunning views from every room. Lovely natural setting. VERY peaceful and ample spaces for everyone.

I was very happy with my visit and 100% recommend it. The house is very nice, everything is very clean, and the service is very good.

This place is an absolute gem. It has this incredible rustic mid century vibe. The architecture is amazing, I found myself just staring at the wooden beams while sitting inside. There’s very nice sunken living room with an impressive stone fireplace. Everything has been meticulously cared for and is very clean. The beds and lines are comfortable and bathrooms accommodating. The outside grounds are beautiful as well. We really liked all the stone work throughout the property. Our host Jamie was perfect. If you plan on staying in Wrightwood and this property is available, book it!

This was our second stay at this lovely airbnb. We loved our second stay just as much as the first. We really loved sitting on the deck in the afternoons. We even learned about a nearby park (Elysian Park) that has some trails that were perfect for exercising our dog that came with us. We appreciated the snacks for people and treats for dogs that come with a stay here too.

A calm, private oasis away from the hustle and bustle of LA. Check in could not have been easier. The place looks exactly like the photos, has everything you need to cook, and we had the best sleep of our lives. The shower is also really fabulous and stocked with clean products. Parvin is super responsive for anything you need, and an amazingly caring host. The private patio is such a lovely touch! Not only is the neighborhood walkable (with coffee shops and restaurants nearby) but I was also able to make it to the beaches in Playa del Rey, Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Venice, etc. so easily - all without getting on the freeway and dealing with the crazy LA traffic. Also, if you travel with a pet - you really can't find a better place to stay. My dog didn't want to leave!

This cabin has such a familiar, comforting vibe—it feels like stepping into a place your soul already knows. The sound of the creek just outside the door added a gentle soundtrack to my stay, and I especially loved having breakfast in the screened-in porch each morning. Everything was easy to find thanks to the clear directions and the helpful guest handbook, and the thoughtful touches (like fresh apples and eggs) made me feel genuinely welcomed. If you’re looking to truly get away from it all and reset in nature, this is a perfect spot.

It was such a cute and cozy house in the middle of a forest. I loved all the beautiful trees around it — they made it feel so peaceful. We had a great time and I’d love to come back in winter!

We loved this beautiful, family build and carried true generations cabin! You will find there everything you need. Location is really convenient and very close to the restaurants and Mount High Resort. We looking forward to comeback soon to the cabin with our family and friends.

A unique space in a great location!

Wonderful experience. Fabulous place. Vincent and his family are a pleasure, and the room, full of sweet and interesting items, colorful, with a great bed, is on a gorgeous terrace with lush and planted huge cactus bougainvillea and agave. Great place.

Cabin in the hills! The listing isn't lying about daily hummingbirds. A great cozy cabin hanging off a mountain. Great views, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Really leafy, green views. Loved it. Do wish there was a barbecue!

This listing met my expectations and was a very pleasant stay. Quiet neighborhood, with few disturbances or concerns. Only major issue was with ants near entrances and windows, but this was mostly resolved. Altun was extremely helpful with communication and providing necessary assistance and amenities. The location was perfect for anyone looking for an escape from the city without the crowd.

We had a wonderful time at J and Lynn’s place. Wrightwood is an adorable town and our cozy accommodations made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the two bedrooms are quite comfortable for two couples. The living room and front porch are wonderful places to hang out. A terrific stay!
