This is a wonderful place to have a relaxing holiday in Punta del Este. It is very close to La Barra but away from all trafic and noise. Magnificent garden, total calm. The house is impeccable and so nicely decorated and soothing. Everything works perfectly. Beds are great. Bathrooms are spacious. Hosts are so kind and welcoming. We shall come back! It is hard to find a space for a large family or group of friends in or around Jose Ignacio that doesn’t cost the earth during the new year period, but Pilar’s farmhouse at the top of a hill just 3 minutes from the centre of Jose Ignacio was the unicorn we were looking for. The house is big, but don’t expect all the trappings of luxury. What the house lacks in luxury and modernity it more than makes up for with the outdoor space, horses, bird-life, star-gazing, pool and outdoor eating spaces. If you have young kids that like to run around, this place is perfect and I challenge anyone to wake up with that view and not feel happy every morning. Thank you, Pilar, y hasta pronto!

Antonio is a great host. I use a wheelchair and he had ramps made to make everything more enjoyable. The house's spaces are spacious and the environment is unique. It's in a small forest, much nicer than what you can see in the photos. We'll be back!

The stay at La Chacra exceeded our expectations! We loved the place, how quiet it is, the landscape is beautiful, the house is very spacious, comfortable and peculiar. The bedrooms are all very comfortable en-suite, and the pool is very enjoyable. Pablo the landlord is a genius, very helpful, he helped us at all times and suggested activities that we loved doing. We highly recommend the experience!!

Everything was excellent. The house is spectacular, and the place too. Very spacious, ideal for groups. Check-in and check-out were very easy and communication with Leonilda was excellent.

We had such a lovely time at this place. We came for a relaxing girls trip and got exactly that. The surroundings and ground is amazing and tranquil. The pool refreshing and lots of outdoor space to spend time together or find a little corner to one’s self. We brought all our groceries since the next store is a bit away. So keep that in mind but the kitchen is fully equipped to cook. We had an amazing time! Thank you! We also fell in love with the little cat that came by the house. She’s the sweetest!

Beautiful house, very family, located in a super quiet stay, surrounded by wildlife, green and hills. There are wonderful hikes to do on the terrain and you can see spectacular sunsets from very nice spots. The view alone is worth it, but we also received a very friendly and friendly treatment from Maria and Cristoph, as well as a very nice home. In addition to all this, they have some beautiful and cuddly dogs that even accompany you on hikes.

We had a very nice time in this cottage. There is a beautiful grill in the kitchen dining room a large table to share , board games,a beautiful stove that we did not use because we went in summer and a very comfortable sofa bed also air conditioning that is very useful Get up and have breakfast at the indoor table outside watching the saws and the amount of birds and horses around is a total pleasure for those of us who live in the city. Punta del Este is 40min and village Eden is very close and it is a beautiful spot as well. The bathroom of the impeccable house, the bedrooms will also return for sure , thank you for sharing your home in a peaceful place

Very good place, easy to access and in a good location, a few minutes drive to Minas. The photos don't do justice to the views of the surroundings that can even be seen from inside the cabin. Highly recommended!

I loved the place, the chacra is beautiful, with beautiful trees and plants, everything super cared for, the pool ok, and the jacuzzi to spectacular wood, we enjoyed it a lot, the attencuon excellent, the ability to have the harvest of the huerta, for the city bugs like me, was barbarous. The house is spacious, with hermlsaa galerias, and it is only 10 minutes from the plsya and almost in front of Lapataia... you can enjoy the beach and in addition to the chacra, it is an excellent combination, we will surely repeat

The house is beautiful, large and looks better than in the photos. Everything works perfectly, it has many bedrooms and bathrooms and several generous common spaces, a fully-equipped kitchen and a very enjoyable outdoor area overlooking the pool that can be enjoyed at any time. Ideal for large families with children. The area and the surroundings of the house are very nice. Gustavo was always super attentive, making sure everything was perfect.

Great experience. It was very clear in telling us how to get there and we did it without a problem. Good flexibility of schedules. The house was very well equipped it came with a lot of wood and savannas. The landlord is very helpful. Recommendation: Take a pickup truck or 4x4 because if it is wet or it rains on the driveway it is very muddy and the car can stay. Tip: As soon as you cross the doorman there is a path on the left between 2 cables that there is no problem with driving if it rains. Highly recommended.

We went with my family to spend a few days on vacation and had a great time. All spectacular. Beautiful and very quiet environment. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lucienne is always very attentive and very easy to communicate. Highly recommended!

A MISINTERPRETATION of ours was about to cancel the experience, but Miguel's attitude was central to resolving the inconvenience. A separate chapter Sofía, excellent home, at the level of the advertised offer. Congratulations to both...!!!

Thanks to Luigi for your spontaneous flexibility when we had to arrive a few days earlier than booked, you made it possible immediately and we arrived the same day. Great. Thank you. The house, especially the kitchen, was perfectly equipped, was a lot of fun with Leña oven and parilla in the kitchen in addition, there was a lot of fresh bread and often own pizza, on weekends were grilled. The Estancia is quiet and beautifully located, thanks to the plantings of the family for decades, a gem in Uruguay, great landscape, many sheep and young calves made us a lot of fun, it was a great time staying with you, we will be back ;-) Thank you,thank you, thank you

What a wonderful stay we had! Cati lives on the grounds and could not have been more kind and helpful, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Diego was always quick with a response as well! The home is well appointed with necessities (lots of towels, silverware, kitchen basics) and so comfortable for our group of 13. There was plenty of space for big dinners outside and games inside. It is a short drive to town, where there are lots of restaurants and groceries. Would absolutely recommend a stay here, and we hope to one day come back again!

We loved the cabin, super comfortable! The wood stove heats the whole place. Esteban was super friendly, he was available all the time and even waited for us with the stove on. We definitely hope to return

A spectacular place to disconnect from everything, a beautiful place with excellent and well-kept facilities, and very good host service.

Beautiful place. Mariana is always attentive and her landlady, Daniela, too. The beds are super comfortable, the appliances are first class. Incredible views and a lot of tranquility. Bonus: hair dryer, a good iron, spare ph and liquid hand soap. I highly recommend the country restaurant "lo de juan u cristina", it is close, the food is homemade and delicious and the owners are charming.
