we loved every second of our stay and could’ve definitely stayed for longer. a true gem and amazing value for money. the photos don’t do it justice! the area is stunning and ideal if you are looking to spend some time outdoors surrounded by beautiful landscapes and beaches.

Excellent location and very nice spacious flat, in excellent condition, would recommend to others.

Stayed one night to break up a journey along NC500. Lovely accommodation in a spot close to harbour. Our daughter loved the spacious upstairs bedroom area

Great communication with Neil and a well equipped flat we used as a base for exploring the area around Wick.

Though our stay was unexpectedly cut short, I would try to come back in his place if time permits.

The Lookout had everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and full extra little touches: Karen really has thought of everything. The location is ideal for exploring Kirkwall and beyond, and the building itself has a fascinating history. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying at Northlight Apartments.

Scarva is truly the most wonderful Airbnb that we have ever stayed in! It’s location in Kirkwall is perfect… The cathedral is right down the street and there is a market as well as a specialty market right across the road. The apartment itself is decorated beyond words and feels like home. We cooked at home and relaxed in the beautiful living room after full days of exploring the islands. You will not be sorry… Book this place before it gets booked up!

Once again. Our second visit to The Noddle. Top review for this wonderful property. Lots of quirky lovely additions to the decor. The hosts fabulous artwork on the walls throughout were a delight. All we needed was at hand, and plenty of room for all 6 of us on our mahjong game tour. Clear instructions for all the carefully maintained heating units and other electrical appliances and all wall switches/sockets clearly labelled. Lovely maintained house and garden-including the 'secret garden'. A great decking with comfy chairs to sit in the sunshine and listen to nature... and count the bunnies! What more can I say.? Thank you Tony and Penny for letting us stay in this wonderful place.

The place to stay in the area. If it's free, book it. Perfect location with amazing sunsets over the water each night. Easy to get in and out of the driveway. Well stocked kitchen, excellent shower, the bed in the first room is super comfortable [only one used], and the sun room was perfect to relax in. Little garden out front for the dogs and a nice picnic table to eat outside. Overall a wonderful place.

Fab house, beautifully presented. Small but nicely equipped kitchen. Easy walk to big coop and lovely Stromness and all amenities. Just a few minutes from the ferry and easy to park at the property. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

This was a great place to stay in Kirkwall. Accommodation was superb and was within easy walking distance of town centre. Would definitely stay there again. Parking was great to have as well

Based on the photos we saw on the website the bungalow exceeded our expectations as they do not give a true impression of just how good this bungalow is. Since booking I have experienced some decline in my mobility and it was perfect for me, wide doorways, uncluttered and a full disabled bathroom. I was comfortably able to use my walker to get around. Greig was quick to respond and fix the couple of issues we encountered and the information hut with the added facilities of local produce, ice cream and coffee was a lovely surprise. The bungalow is in a beautiful location but still close enough to Kirkwall and all the main visitor attractions. We would definitely look to book this accommodation again .

This apartment was in a perfect location and very quiet. The building has history which we always enjoy finding out about. We spent a beautiful 8 nights on Orkney. We didn’t have a car and it was easy to get around using tours, public transportation or taxis.

Fantastic place to stay as always.

We are delighted with the two nights spent. The apartment is easy to find and well located for visiting this part of the Highlands. It overlooks the port (very quiet) and we enjoyed the view of the boats. Zac was very helpful. He very kindly offered to prepare the sofa bed for us, which saved us from doing it when we arrived late. He also advised us on good restaurants nearby.

Booked for colleagues who were very happy and the feedback was great. Really appreciate the ease in arranging with Graeme and will definitely book again.

Great apartment. Very clean and well appointed. Great location in that you were very close to everything the only downside was that on the Saturday night the noise from the young folk waiting for taxis was horrendous. Between 12-2 am none of us could sleep and that was with the windows shut and earplugs in . But for the noise on the Saturday night I would have scored higher.

Marie was a great host. She treated us like a friend. She’s passionate about hosting and has a wealth of knowledge of the local area. I do plan another nc 500 adventure and will be booking again. Thanks Marie till our paths cross again..
