Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Main Ridge

Absolutely beautiful location - tranquil, lovely outlook onto garden surrounded by native bush with lots of bird life- exactly the peaceful natural location we were seeking for our 10 night stay. Our party of two elderly parents (in their 90's), and four other adult family loved the house and location. Easy to access for my parents who were using walkers with a ramp up to front verandah and everything on the one level (apart from laundry). Comfy sofa and we loved the fireplace with lots of firewood supplied - also plenty of other heating to keep us warm and cosy on the colder autumn nights and days.

We had a lovely weekend away! Daisy’s house was peaceful and relaxing, privately located with a beautiful view. The kids enjoyed the spa and farm animals located in neighbouring paddocks. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and the layout works well for 2 families. Daisy was an attentive host and was quick to respond to any messages. Would happily stay again :)

Three generations found our stay at Eldridge Estate perfect as we spent two nights celebrating my son's wedding at neighbouring Red Hill Estate. We all enjoyed the cosy fire and the space to gather together and reflect on our own. The outdoor areas offered beautiful views and a quiet space for me to write my speech:) Vicki is indeed a super host, going out of her way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!

This has been on my bucket list for quite the while,and it did not dissapoint.This residence is perfect for solo Artists that want to get away from it all.There is much wildlife at different times of day....so many different species of tree..go for a walk around the property you will certainly get a vigorous workout.The days are peaceful but the nights are just as quiet.....cook yourself a meal,fire up the inside coonara, sit outside & enjoy the surrounds.I Loved the 'banksy' on the wall.....nice touch...Montys' retreat was spotlessly clean & everything listed was there.All in All, thoroughly recommend staying here...You wont be disappointed.

The pictures here on Airbnb do not do this home justice - it's even more beautiful than the pictures could reflect. The view from the floor-to-vaulted ceiling windows was spectacular and we even stayed during the miserably cold and stormy winter holiday weekend. It was wonderful to watch the storm over the bay and the rain beside a cozy fire inside. I wish we could have taken advantage of the expansive deck and patio furniture. The inside is modern and luxe. Given the luxurious views and design, it is understandably a quite expensive stay. Kurt was also very responsive and helpful during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy home! The fireplace was the perfect touch, making our evenings feel warm and inviting. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were super responsive and welcoming. We'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had a great time staying over a wintry long weekend at Mark's lovely place. The place felt homey, loved, and well taken care of. All the amenities were just as described and we missed nothing. We especially enjoyed the little cosy corner next to the fireplace. Mark was friendly and provided all the needed information. The place is well located, not far from the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes. The price was reasonable and competitive. Overall, a great place which we would happily come back to!

This home was an absolute gem peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality touches throughout. From the luxurious bed and crisp linens to the plush couch and spotless bathroom, every detail made the stay feel indulgent and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was the water pressure strong enough to actually wash your hair, which is surprisingly rare in most Airbnbs. And unlike many places, there were no leaks or awkward plumbing quirks in the shower just clean, functional design. The host was warm, responsive, and genuinely accommodating, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. This place is a perfect escape for couples looking to unwind in comfort and style. I’ll absolutely be coming back 5 stars, hands down.

We had a great time at the Portarlington National Celtic festival over the June long weekend. To top this off our very comfortable accommodation was a highlight. The Hosts have put so much effort to make their place a home away from home and it shows with every thoughtful detail . Certainly would recommend to anyone wanting to stay and also explore the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Hopefully we can return for another luxury escape !! Rgds Margaret & Bob

Joan’s cottage was like a home from home. It had everything you could need for day to day living. The bird theme running throughout the cottage was nice. Only 5 minute drive to Mornington town centre. We will definitely stay here again.

It was a last minute getaway and was just perfect. Exactly what we wanted and expected. Cold enough evenings to make the most of a fabulous fireplace. Lovely open space. Perfectly equipped kitchen and walkable distance to shops and beach. It was also a perfect secure home to bring our dog.

We had a wonderful stay at Ria's place. The house is exactly like the photos, beautiful, luminous and well equiped. It has everything you need (even an office!). Biarritz is a beautiful, stylish villa in a peaceful garden setting and Sylvie is an excellent host, always so friendly, responsive and helpful. We were three generations staying for eleven nights after Xmas and the five bedrooms, spacious, bright, open plan living, kitchen, dining areas suited us perfectly. The new spa and sauna were a well used added bonus. Sylvie has ensured every room is so well equipped, with all we needed plus many extras and thoughtful touches that we have not seen in other houses, and all is of a high quality. Polperro’s villas are so beautiful with incredible views of the vineyards. Loved the wine selection, they all were fantastic. The villa had all the amenities, wine selection, chocolates, mini bar, breakfast options. Inside was supper clean, spacious, too warm to use the fireplace but would have been nice. Sit on the deck with a glass of wine and admire the view. It was so peaceful.
