Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Mafra

We spent 2 nights there in June. Edite is a lovely and friendly woman. The place has beautiful views! and we slept very well there.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. We loved our stay at this beach and water side home. It was so lovely to enjoy the sunrise and sunset out the many windows each day. The kitchen was great and we cooked two meals at the house. The living area and bedrooms were very comfortable for the three of us who were visiting. Carolina was very easy to reach and treated us so kindly. We will return and recommend this home!

It was a wonderful place with a magnificent view of the sea. A place that invites you to linger and unwind. The house was in top condition and clean. We felt completely comfortable and José was a great host.

This place was incredibly beautiful and very well appointed. For us, it was a perfect home base to explore from. The gardens of the house were the perfect place to relax and the views were incredibly beautiful. Host was very responsive and helpful with local logistics (we were coming without a car). The only drawback is that the house was quite damp - especially the main bedroom - but even knowing that I'd be tempted to return because of how beautiful it was.

We had a great time at David’s place with our 2 kids. The beach house is only a few footsteps away from a long and beautiful beach and it provides all the required amenities. Special mention to David who, in addition to being extremely friendly, provided great recommendations and was always available to ensure our stay was good. Thank you and see you next time!

Maria do Carmo is an excellent host. He responds quickly, makes a point of providing suggestions and care to make the tour experience unforgettable. Your home is a charming place, of transcendental beauty because the view of the sea and the contact with the atmosphere of the village is unforgettable. The cleanliness and organization of the house is perfect. The house is located in a beautiful and completely renovated village and the neighbors (local Portuguese) are attentive and kind to tourists. Hey, and this Airbnb is shockingly. The coziest place and the most high quality Airbnb I saw so far in portugal. A plenty of card games, every single essential for cooking you ever need to use, plenty of towels, even scissors, checkin is smooth, the host send a whole guide for area for restaurants to visit! The best experience! I extended on as much as I could on the other places this person hosts and if I ever travel to the countries where the host has airbnbs now I’m going to Switzerland feeling excited, wishing she had Airbnb there also

We had a lovely stay and the apartment had everything we needed for a short stay. Easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Would stay again!

Very well designed place .. it’s a very quiet and private newly renovated house .. someone put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of every detail .. agent was very easy to communicate with .. everything was perfect

Our stay was excellent!! Ricardo and his family are very friendly, the space and the accommodation on the bus were fantastic. We had everything we needed to cook. There's a lot more to tell, but future guests will have to discover it! This experience on the bus is really worth it.

This place met our every expectation! From plenty of towels to an amazing (powerful) hairdryer! Large bedrooms. Spacious areas throughout! The pool was amazing. They even have a Lilly pond for frogs!! The place was quiet and peaceful! The house itself had an area for kids, and an area to cook/grill and eat outside and even a hammock!! No other homes are around you and it feels like your own! I also want to mention the mattresses. I am a stickler for mattresses and this place had two very nice thick ones (rare in air bnbs). I want to come back again just to stay here lol. Highly recommend!!

Christina was extremely helpful and an excellent host. As a superhost myself, I would absolutely rate this place a 5 star. Her level of communication was excellent providing us with a driver and great local recommendations. I highly recommend having a hired driver while visiting the area if you want to travel outside the square.

We had such a lovely stay over the month we stayed here. Felt completely at home. The house was so clean, comfortable and had everything one could need. The backyard, pool, and pool room made our stay extra luxurious. Working remotely was easy with a strong wifi connection and a proper office to work from. Lina was so kind, welcoming, and responsive. Any questions we had, she was quick to respond. The house is in a beautiful area, close to some great towns, epic surf, and beautiful vineyards. A great place to stay whether family, friends, or couples.

Little very cozy house in a fantastic place!

Highly recommend Filipe’s Airbnb! Situated just outside of Ericeira and easy to get there via car, taxi and I think there’s also a bus. The Airbnb is just a short walk down to the beach where there’s a small bar and cafe. Also it has a surf school which is much less busy than the ones in Ericeira. The house itself is just a perfect place to relax, there is loads of space outside the house to sunbath or sit out for dinner. Filipe is a brilliant host, he helped us with everything we needed and let us know the area and things to do. He also has two amazing dogs that love some fuss. Overall we couldn’t recommend Filipe and his Airbnb enough. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely stay again.

What a beautiful, peaceful retreat in nature to enjoy! We really loved walking to the cliffs and surrounding areas. Came across a farmer grazing his heard of goats… our daughter really enjoyed that. The air was crisp and fresh so make sure to take cozy clothes for the mornings and evenings. I would highly recommend and would be happy to return! Great location in the city center, meters away from the cliffs and beaches. Clean and nicely decorated apartment. Nice rooftop terrace with a seaview. As the apartment is over busy bars, one of the room on that side gets really noisy during the night. Earplugs might not be enough for light sleepers.

Having Pedro meet us at the house and show us around and give us a list of recommendations was invaluable. The house is well appointed with beautiful gardens and a lovely outdoor area. It was a great central location for all of the things on our to do list. A stay at Ana and Pedro’s home will not disappoint.
