Monthly Rentals in Mades

This is a perfect little getaway spot! Steps from the beach, quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. Giannis is the nicest person ever, he provided wine and snacks and bottled water. He even picked me up from the port because the next bus wasn’t coming for hours. As a side note, you should really have your own transportation if you book this place. I wish I had rented a car in Heraklion, because taxis don’t seem to come to this area. But I was able to rent a car in the Athena Palace resort which is right down the road.

We had a relaxing and pleasant stay at Despina’s lovely place. The flat is spacious, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. Ligaria is a charming little settlement nestled in a small bay perfect for a peaceful getaway. Despina is a warm and welcoming host; she even stocked the fridge with breakfast items for us. If you have a car, the location is ideal, with easy access to the highway for day trips.

Maria was a very kind host and above all very responsive and always there to help and make sure we didn't miss anything. The apartment is very cute and above all very peaceful and with stunning sea views. I recommend it and I would come back!!!
