Apartment vacation rentals in Lyon

We really enjoyed our stay at Clement's apartment. It was only a stone's throw from the Rhone, so an easy to walk to the Presqu'ile. It's also close to a Tram line. If you like to swim, pack your suit for the nearby Centre Nautique Tony Bertrand, whose outdoor pool was packed most afternoons. The home was just as described, well-equipped and clean. There was plenty of room for our things, and reading lights by the beds (a must for me) . We appreciated the starter coffees and the large fridge. The street was quiet - except for one Saturday night when block parties were happening all over the area. (We were watching the Eurovision finals so we didn't mind!) Clement was responsive to our requests, and I wouldn't hesitate to return!

Had a great stay in Lyon. Lovely clean bathroom. Comfortable bed and great facilities. Perfect location - we were able to walk everywhere we needed.

Patrick is a lovely man who went to the trouble to meet us at the entrance and show us around the excellent unit and to offer any help we may need. It has everything you could need for a stay and is so conveniently located on the walking street with spectacular views from the balcony all the way up to the square. The lift is very convenient as it would be difficult to walk up 6 floors of stairs. It is in easy walking distance to the Metro and many restaurants across the square If you are coming to Lyon I highly recommend Patricks place to stay

The apartment is very nice and clean. Everything available for a great stay. The host is very available and allowed us to drop off our belongings in the apartment before the scheduled check-in time. The apartment is in a very good location with parking right next door! We had a great time.

Olivier was so delightful to deal with, very responsive and detailed! The spacious apartment was modern but also had old world charm in the large exposed beam and stone work. There were a few lovely restaurants within a 5-10 min walk and the old part of Lyon just a 20 minute walk away! He was so flexible when we arrived early and allowed us to drop our luggage so we could explore Vieux Lyon until check in. It was a bit warm as the AC hadn’t yet been activated but all the fans helped overcome that! Overall we would highly recommend this lovely property. Thank you Olivier!

Very responsive host who accepted our booking last minute and still met us upon check in and shared some history on the building and interesting features. The accommodation was as described and located within close distance to restaurants and shops. City Center is within walking distance but pubic tarpaper is also close by.

Awesome, a lot of extremely good restaurants around, be sure to check out famosa down the street! Apt has everything you need, nice clean and cozy

Very good stay in a central and lively neighborhood of Lyon. Functional and nicely decorated accommodation, convenient as a base for visiting Lyon and close to many restaurants.

Mila and Julien’s place was just as pictured! It’s in the center of a bustling tourist area, so if your goal is to be close to shops and restaurants, this is the perfect spot. The space was clean and comfortable and we would definitely recommend this stay in Lyon.

I had the best time at Marlène’s appartement. Very clear instructions on how to access the appartement and close to the the alliance française. I felt very safe walking through the neighborhood and everyone was very kind and friendly. Lots of local restaurants and grocery stores. Perfect place for me to continue my French studies. Walkable distance from most of everything in the center of Lyon, clean space, easy check-in. I only regret the lack of human communication beforehand (seems to be an automated bot?), as such did not get questions answered before checking in. Still, a good place to stay for a short while in Lyon!

Great apartment. Garage is bigger than you think and our Volvo V70 fitted in with a little manoeuvring. Bus stop outside as it is a steep walk down into town and back up. We walked via Pasarelle des quatre vents to the Basilica then took the funicular down. Apartment has everything needed and is well maintained. We had a great time.

This is a beautifully decorated and very comfortable apartment. It was a real treat to stay there. The area was lively and comfortable. We loved everything about being there and would hope to be able to return.

Cozy studio apartment and it was exactly as described. Jacek was extremely friendly and happy to provide site and restaurant suggestions . Very walkable area. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at Jean-Luc’s place. The elevator went out once but it was resolved in time for check out. Otherwise it was going to be 5 flights of stairs!

Néjià was a wonderful host, very communicative and attentive. The space (we stayed for 6 days) was exactly as described and we were pleasantly surprised by arriving to a well stocked kitchen with all kinds of little goodies. Easy walking distance to the local farmers market, old town and other attracions if you're in half decent shape - Lyon has lots of hills! We also had a car for day trips but opted to return it early as parking and navigating through the city was a hassle. All in all an excellent property and wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed our stay in Lyon at this space, recently renovated and very comfortable to relax in after a long day exploring. Very easy walk from the Perrache train station, and also going back and forth during our visit so close to the Ampere Metro station. The space itself has great proximity and an easy walk to so many neighborhoods in Lyon, and was very comfortable for two adults staying for a few days. Europe can get warm in the summer and while this apartment does not have air conditioning, fans were provided and we slept with the windows open mostly. During the weekends, some noise can be heard from passers-by below, but we were comfortable and it was expected. We really appreciated having accessible and easy to use washer/dryer and iron too. Would definitely love to visit again, Laura & Ed were gracious hosts!

Great location and very nice apartment. Quiet. Very clean and had everything we needed. We parked our car right across the street and walked everywhere for the 3 days we were in Lyon. I would recommend this apartment and would stay there again.

This stay was so perfectly cozy and incredible. The attention to detail is beyond anything I’ve ever seen on Airbnb! This truly is a welcoming home with amazing amenities, great walkability to nearby restaurants, and endless things to do. Chiara provided great recommendations and maps. This is a must stay!

Me and my partner had the best time staying in this beautiful one bed apartment a stone throw away from the bustling Old Town in St George. So many delicious resturants and boulangeries to choose from right on your doorstep. It was a great base to explore the whole city as was also very close to public transport and the river. We received lots of recommendations from the hosts too. Would highly recommend!
