Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lyndon

Such a cute cottage in a quiet neighborhood that we felt safe in. Great place with plenty of space for our four teenagers! Nice kitchen table for playing games at night. Exceptionally clean with quality linens on the beds. Nice minimal decorations with beautiful furniture in the living room. Fenced in back yard. Nice area to park under the car port or out front so you’re not parked on the street. Everything was just as described. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. The host was very proactive and quick to respond. They even turned on the porch light for us bc I told her we were arriving late on arrival day. These small gestures are very much noticed and appreciated. We would definitely stay here again! We traveled here from Nashville with our three teenagers for a quick visit to Kentucky Kingdom! Our son, 18yo, claimed the basement as his personal chill pad, while the two teen girls chose the "twin beds" room located on the top floor. Us parents ended up choosing the cozy bottom bedroom facing the backyard. We all appreciated having our personal spaces at the end of a busy day! Honestly, though, when we first walked in, I was blown away to see original home details that are usually ditched with older home remodels. The doors and doorknobs, the wood framing around the doors and windows, the wood flooring, THE FIREPLACE... all lovingly rescued! I lost count with how many times I said I wished we could find a gem like this. The parking area behind the house, down a quiet alleyway, was very well-lit and felt extremely safe. Also, for us, we did not experience ANY concerning noise disturbances, or witness anything nefarious.😉 Thank you, Luke & Katie! We enjoyed your charming home

We throughly enjoyed David's home. It in a peaceful neighborhood with a great backyard! We used the kitchen alot during our stay and it had everything we needed! The laundry amenities were also very convenient with detergent and stain remover provided. David was very responsive and understanding! We absolutely hope to stay here again!

Great neighborhood, comfy and cozy house with lots of space and everything you need. Loved the basement for the kids to play! The shower head was luxurious! Close to lots of shops and Abigail made the stay so effortless for us. Highly recommend her place.

Our stay at Atoka Farm went above and beyond expectations! Kevin was there to escort us in at the gate and explained everything about the beautiful home and surroundings to make us feel “ right at home”. He was very pleasant and easy to talk with and made sure we had questions answered. The kitchen had everything needed and more for meal planning. The home was immaculately clean and decorated to feel homey. I would definitely recommend Atoka Farm as a 5 star Air B&B and a must to stay at if ever traveling in the area!

From the spot on communication pre-arrival to the waiting hospitality basket to the immaculate and tastefully decorated home to the prompt replies to texts and emails during our stay, I can't say enough about the excellent experience we had from start to finish. We had lots of family to visit so we often were gone most of the day but returning in the evenings for a quiet moment on the beautiful front porch or backyard was heaven! Thank you John. We felt like we were your one and only guests, ever! We hope to return soon.

We had a great experience, Ross was an excellent host. He was friendly, easy to communicate with and helpful. His house was very clean full of amenities and was very easy to find. I would definitely recommend this cozy inviting house to anyone.

We travel into Louisville frequently to visit family and the farmhouse is a favorite place to stay! The decor is beautiful and being from Louisville, we especially love the historic photos. With plenty of space, the layout also provides for privacy if desired. Hosts are topnotch and caring, and their attention to our needs far exceeded our expectations. Our visits tend to be busy, so it's always calming to drive the rural route back to the farm, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings there.

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

We had a WONDERFUL stay, the apartment was gorgeous. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Bruce was very responsive from the beginning of my booking through our complete stay. He went above and beyond with little details to make the stay so personal. We loved the muffins 😊 I highly recommend staying here while in the area. Fantastic rental for our group of four guys. Parking was great as our suburban had no problem getting in and out of the covered assigned parking spot which was right next to the entrance of the courtyard where the rental is located. Rental was spacious and had everything we needed. Spacious bedrooms and large couch in living room for us to gather. Plenty of great bars and restaurants within a very short walk. Easy location for uber pick ups and maybe a five-ten minute ride to the areas we ventured out to. Our host Shannon was great as she was very quick to reply. All instructions were easy to follow. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Michael’s for the derby, it was a great location. He recommended places to go we went to bourbon Bristo and eggs over Frankfort which were fantastic. It was nice to be on 1st floor and close to parking. Place was clean and the electric fireplace was calming. There were places close by to shop. The place is pet friendly but we didn’t bring ours. House was as described. Great space, furnished well. Location was great. Restaurants close and about 7 min from convention center. Host was very responsive. We would definitely book this house again!

Exceeded expectations! You know you’re always nervous about staying somewhere unknown, but wow this was absolutely perfect. Enjoyed walking down the block that first night and then it’s located very close to everything. Gave a home feeling too. Would definitely recommend ❤️

great spot for a quick weekend getaway

Perfect little home away from home in the heart of Louisville. Nettie’s place has everything you need along with convenience of being able to get to anywhere you’d want to go while in town. Annette is the sweetest host who goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure you feel taken care of. If we’re lucky enough to visit the derby again in the future, we would definitely look at staying here. Thank you for a great stay Annette!

The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. From movie nights in the comfy living room to making meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, every moment felt special. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
