The Beach House Gerroa is one of the South Coast's premier luxury beachfront residences. This newly renovated exceptional hamptons style house occupies a stunning location right on the beach front at Gerroa. The house sleeps 10, in 3 queen bedrooms (all with ensuites) and a cool 4 person bunk room for the kids. With multiple lounge rooms, living areas, 2 open sandstone fireplaces a huge balcony with inbuilt BBQ, lounge and dining for 10 plus another balcony with spa there is plenty of space.
The space
Waves lap at the shore and Gerroa Beach sweeps around just below this Hamptons-inspired retreat on a surf-happy stretch of the Australian coast. This house was made to entertain, with its generously proportioned rooms and a waterfront deck with space for the whole family. Walk to a coffee shop and let the caffeine fuel a surf or boogie-boarding session on the seasonally patrolled beach.
Watch the tide go in and out from sun-splashed decks with sitting and dining areas, an outdoor kitchen with a built-in barbecue, and a hot tub that’s a wonderful spot to see the stars come out. Or grab one of the villa’s surfboards, boogie boards, stand-up paddleboard, and bikes to explore the bay and along the shoreline.
Sunshine bounces off the villa’s crisp white walls and glows against the 2 sandstone fireplaces. There are 2 living areas, 2 dining areas, and a fully equipped kitchen with vintage-inspired fixtures and an inviting breakfast bar. Wicker seating, striped throws, and the views through walls of windows are constant reminders that you’re at the beach.
Follow the steps down from the deck, walk across the grass, and you’re on Gerroa Beach, where you’ll find relatively gentle waves that are kind to new surfers, lifeguards on patrol during the summer, and an area by the river with calm water perfect for younger kids to play in. Walk or bike to nearby restaurants or get a takeout coffee to bring on a stroll along a coastal trail.
