'Number 10' is located in the heart of the village of Cullipool, on the slate Island of Luing. It has been fully renovated recently. The original part of the building was built around 1800 with the extension being added in 1980. It was originally a 'but & ben' (2 rooms) built to house the workers of the slate quarries in Cullipool. The view from the garden speaks for itself with views across the Firth or Lorn to Mull. Temple Wood and the standing stones are in walking distance with the Crinan Canal a short drive or cycle. Luxury country house set in its own little forest

Part 1600’s, part Arts and Crafts, this is the oldest building in the glen. The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
