Rob Royd Barn Annex, double bedroom & bathroom

Host was absolutely lovely to talk to, came here with my girlfriend for her 21st birthday. The views were definitely the best I’ve had from my visits. Beautiful wildlife especially with the spring weather. This family has worked really hard to create a nice family environment and it shows. Inside the stay was a book showing their journey and they’re still working hard. Despite being attached to the home our room and bar felt very private and we felt very comfortable. We’re not big drinkers but the honesty bar is fairly priced and a welcome addition to the stay. Thank you both and congratulations on the hard work.

Warley Wood Annex - Moths Den

We stayed six weeks, late April through early June. The house was perfect for my wife and I and we really enjoyed the home and rural but close to everything location. We decided to use bus and train passes with the occasional taxi and saw so much more than renting a car as we have in the past. We walked up the hill everyday to the house from the main road and at 70 years old we had no problems, it was good exercise before bed each evening. Susan and her husband Mark were perfect hosts, we saw them often and were very helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Our best recommendation for this home is "We will stay again." At different times we walked all the local canals from Todmorden to Brighouse in sections, visited dozens of local villages and took the train to Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, the airport and even down to London and Kent. Our bus passes also allowed us to roam all over Yorkshire.

Canal side balcony apartment.

We had a lovely stay at the Old Brewery. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. It looked just like the pictures and perfectly matched the description. It was the perfect base to explore the Calder Valley, we walked along the canal towpath into Hebden Bridge and caught the bus back, so handy as the bus stopped right outside the property. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay in the beautiful English countryside. Great value, great hosts, beautiful views, great walks and brilliantly chilly English weather in autumn. Thanks so much, an experience to be had!

What a lovely place to stay! Stunning views of the listed building and land. Enjoyed hearing and seeing the lambs playing. Very peaceful and quiet, also easy to find. A lovely and helpful touch to provide milk for when we arrived. Angela herself is friendly and very accommodating. Thank you so much!

The Snug, Beautiful 1 Bed Ground floor Cottage.

Lovely charming cottage, as described in the listing. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere which is what we wanted, we’ve done all the big 5 star, spa and hot tub places so we’re looking for quiet and calm. spotlessly clean and fresh; a real gem of a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Set in incredible scenery it’s just idyllic and peaceful.
