Beautiful basement , very comfortable bed, everything spotless, will definitely stay there again

Venky’s place was a perfect fit for us. We had an event to attend in Midtown and were able to get there in 10-15 mins. It was also close to great restaurants and markets. His place was clean, equipped with everything we needed, and very spacious for our group of 5. We’d definitely recommend Venky’s place for anyone traveling to the Jersey City or NYC area. It is quite a drive from NYC because of traffic, but the house is big and the neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe! The house is beautiful and clean and very accommodating!

Defina was amazing! We had issues with the place with some of the electricity and she helped us immediately as well as was quick in responding. She was even kind enough to give us a return on a credit for the issue. The breakfast was awesome and more than expected. More than enough for the entire family. Only reason there were some stars were not filled was because the neighborhood was quite dangerous. Don’t walk around the area, straight in and out from the uber to the house.

I recommend it 100% the accommodation is very beautiful, very clean and it is a quiet place there is no noise it is a private place I left the place very delighted and for my part clearly if I repeat it again and also the most important thing has a lot of attention with communication.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home in Newark, NJ! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Daniela was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches and the overall experience. Yolima and Maria were amazing hosts! We met Maria in person and it’s hard not to fall in love with her! She was so kind and friendly and very accomodating. The apartment is as described. We were welcomed with some food basics to get us started. The apartment is a short walk to some amazing views of Manhattan. Checking the views out of a night time is a must, but beautiful during the day as well. There was info on public transport in the apartment however we chose to use Uber to get around when we were travelling further. We walked most of the time, it’s close to restaurants and grocery stores. We got an Uber to the departure point for the ferry to go to Statue of Liberty - getting the ferry from the NJ side was no where near as busy as the Manhattan side, so we were thankful for that! I would have no hesitation in staying here again. Thank you for being amazing hosts and for your lovely apartment!

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean, but also full of thoughtful touches. A dog bed, dishes and a fun treat for our dog. Tons of extras in the kitchen and bathroom, as well! The little backyard is adorable! Karina was more than accommodating as a host! Honestly, I feel like we got more than what we paid for! The neighborhood is chill, we felt safe walking our dog all hours of the day. The apartment is very close to the train station, less than a five minute drive. This place was very fitting for what we look for when we visit NYC, and hope it's available the next time we go that way!

I couldn't be happier with my stay, and neither could the rest of my group! It was a quiet and gorgeous apartment with some of the most comfy beds I've stayed in at and AirBNB, as well as one of the most comfy couches I've stayed on when one of my party started snoring lol. Great shower and kitchen too! The owners were flexible, clear with instructions, and fantastic to work with.

Tonja and Tracey have the most incredible home! This is by far the most wonderful airbnb I've experienced. My colleague and I stayed here on a work trip twice and would go back in a heartbeat. The space is absolutely gorgeous, and all the details make you feel relaxed and completely comfortable. Beyond the beautiful, peaceful space, Tracey and Tonja are wonderful hosts -- warm, responsive, and thoughtful in every way. I truly can't wait to go back! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience!

David is welcoming and helpful; this is a great place to stay if you are needing to be in the vicinity (for me, visiting elder and getting some work done during parts of days). The room is cozy and clean, comfortable bed and good desk -- along with bits of friendly conversation, it suited me well. I'll be checking availability next time I'm back in the area.

Stayed here for five days and it was amazing! I felt right at home. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Ron was amazing and even let me check in early. I would definitely stay here again!

This is the 3rd time we've stayed here and, once again, was the perfect place to stay. Close to Seton Hall and our kid's home but far enough away you don't have to deal with college kids craziness. Art and Libby were extremely accommodating, to the point that we were able to have an extra car on the property filled with our kid's belongings for the final move out

I was lucky enough to get a room here last minute and even more lucky to get the Amazon room. Super cosy. Main light brightens the room tremendously with pure bright white light. Also lamp with dimmer by the bed with usb ports was convenient and a nice touch. Love the blackout shades, got some really good sleep. The bed was very was heavenly and very big. The smart TV was exception quality also very big and seemed more so than the pics. Great space to move around in, lovely welcoming gifts. The continental breakfast was better than most hotels. I wanted to toast my cinnamon raisin bagel, I used the air fryer and forgot I had a toaster in the room😆 My only complaint is that it wasn’t available for more days after, really enjoyed my night there. Also the hosts were very responsive and quick to message me back everything I asked, so accommodating. Close distance to trains.

Ann and Allen are just the best hosts. They are very friendly, relaxed and give good tips on what to do and where to go. I really enjoyed having breakfast with them every morning. Next time I‘m in New York I would like to stay at their house again!

I’ve been thinking about writing this review since the moment I checked into Tracey and Tonja’s BNB. Let me say, this has been by far the best experience I have had via Airbnb and I am very grateful. This is the charm and hospitality staying at a bnb used to have before it became the capitalist, money hungry system it now has become. Tonja and Tracey as such kind and beautiful people. They were beyond hospitable; explained the property and gave me a tour upon arrival, always available if I needed them, and had an incredible energy to match their charming home. The place is so beautiful and the photos do not do it justice! From the cozy library, to the meditation room, to the suites - everything is perfectly decorated and curated to provide you an atmosphere of peace. My favorite was the soak tub which I was in desperate need of after a stressful few weeks of travel. This was the most perfect place to recharge as a part of my new year self care rituals. I will definitely be back soon.
