Lovely cottage from the 50s with nice vintage furniture inspired by the same decade. Is the last cottage on the way out on a headland in Vittsjö's lake area, so here you have the peace and quiet, but are still only a walk from shops and trains. The forest is close by and there are lovely hiking areas. Good fishing just meters from the front door. Here you wake up with a view of a beautiful lake! Enjoy the starry sky and the owls' hooting in the evening. From November 1, 2025, we will change one bedroom to a lounge and only accommodate two guests.

The house is secluded with few neighbors where you can get via a beautiful forest road along the lake. With only 200 meters to the nearest lake. The location of the cottage is a haven for the fishing enthusiast as there is opportunity for fishing. The house itself has a lot of charm with open nice living areas and fireplaces. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stuccos, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a paved patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjöns nice tennis courts. In the winter months it can get a little cold, then you have to curl up on the couch and light a fire in the fireplace.

My house is adorable, next to a lake. It's peacefull, lots of windows. You can take the canoe , paddling ower the lake, or just sit and relax on the deck. Cold days, sit inside by the fireplace, read, eat a nice dinner in one off the rooms with windows owerlooking the lake. Small bedrooms,leaning walls , give you a feeling off going back 100 years in old sweden, when the house was built. You can not swim from my garden, but 200m from my house is a beach. My house is in a small village.

Very nice house, with all the comforts. Modern and cozy! Clean house, full kitchen and nice outdoor seating. Nice contact with the host. The trampoline made it perfect for the kids. The deer in the garden was great!

We spent 9 days over new years eve in the lovely cottage. Nice and calm sourrounding. We had a good time there with our three kids.

Super cozy cabin near forest and lake as well as far from the big city. We had a lovely trip in the provided canoe by the lake. Got good pizza from the local pizzaria (Robins). Had an endless amount of fresh blueberries and relaxed on the porch with a book. Ulla was quick to respond to questions. Definitely recommend this cabin for a family trip away from everything.
