Typical stone house of the region, completely tastefully renovated by the owner located 200 m from the beach and the German batteries of Longue-sur-Mer, five minutes from the first landing beaches and the artificial port of Arromanches which was used for the landing of the Allies during the Second World War. We are 10 minutes from Bayeux, a historic town. You will find all kinds of shops and restaurants, as well as the tapestry of William the Conqueror.

If you are visiting the Normandy beaches I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. A truly special place that will stay with you for weeks afterwards.

When traveling I like a clean, well equipped accommodation, pleasant and helpful host and good location. Marie- Pierre’s home surpassed all of this. The accommodation was immaculate with all the home comforts you could wish for and so much space to relax inside or out. Marie- Pierre’s was so helpful from the beginning, responding almost immediately and regularly providing helpful information. On arrival she met us and explained everything, ensuring we made the most of our stay. The location is perfect for beach tour and visit to Bayeux, with private parking. On our last morning we had chance to say personal goodbye and thanks for everything Marie- Pierre’s had done to make our stay just perfect. You can probably tell we would have no hesitation in returning and recommending the property knowing such a professional and personal host is on hand to make sure you have the best stay possible. Thank you from us all and hope to meet you again.

We had a great long weekend at Veronique's. Her house has been tastefully renovated and is lovely. It is ideally located for visiting the landing beaches and museums. And Véronique is a very nice host. We'll be happy to go back!

Our family spent a couple of nights at Juliette’s place to explore the historic region. Juliette was very friendly & responsive to any questions we had. The house had all the amenities we needed and we felt very comfortable. The area is fantastic as a hub to explore the greater Normandy region. We would gladly stay again.
