Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Long Lake

Beautiful house with a beautiful view with all the amenities you need for a weekend away. Difficult spot for a swim but nice to be right on the water. Great sized bedrooms but would caution that there are some windows without shades so it’s difficult to sleep past sunrise. The parking area is pretty small, we had a Tahoe and it stuck out into the road a little bit. Luckily it’s not a busy road. My husband and I stayed with our 4 month old and father in law. Would not recommend this place for a baby since there isn’t a spot that stays dark enough for the pack and play. Also not a great place for anyone with mobility issues if they want to get down to the water. We enjoyed our stay but this would be a perfect place for four adults, with a sedan, who like to wake up with the sun :)

We stayed at Greg's yurt after numerous days of primitive camping at different locations around the park. This space was undeniably exactly what we needed. They had all the supplies we needed to not have to unpack the car again. The location is ideal for the region and we actually walked to Baxter mountain from the yurt then had a beer at the tavern at the bottom of the trailhead after summiting. The family of squirrels around the property are so personable and hilarious and we had a doe come and graze for dinner as we sat out on the porch for the evening. Being from Western North Carolina, it's been a hard year of survival for most of our communities after hurricane Helene leveled our mountain communities with some small towns completely gone. Our mountains and hearts continue to recover 9 months later while our lands are so vulnerable and many areas inaccessible and unsafe to traverse. Being in the ADKs at Greg's Yurt was refreshing and healing for us and we can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay in Tupper Lake, which we used as our home base to hike in the Seward Range. Moody Sunset had everything we needed and more. The kids enjoyed lounging in the basement and playing all the games available. And we enjoyed the beautiful views, cozy fireplace, and well-stocked coffee bar. It was also great to have a Google speaker (something we use at home often). And the ADK stickers, welcome note, and sparkling water at check-in were a really nice touch. Would absolutely recommend Moody Sunset for anyone looking to explore the area. You won't be disappointed.

The Cabin at Breezy Hill was the perfect spot for a cozy stay at the Adirondacks. Robin and Curt have been so helpful, kind and thoughtful. They had great amenities and everything we needed. Our favorite was the screened porch which was perfect for morning coffees and had a beautiful view. The fire pit is supplied with plenty of wood, the stars are incredible at night and the cabin has the perfect view of the Milky Way later into the night. The hiking trails nearby offer a beautiful view of the mountains. When our stay came to an end we reluctantly left but with amazing memories. We recommend anyone looking for a perfect spot in the Adirondacks to stay here. We will definitely be coming back. - T&A

Wow, this place was a stunning find for us. Quite simply a peaceful wooded oasis with a breathtaking view of Lake Champlain. The house is clean, spacious, and accommodating. The little things like toys for our son, the pool table, and Adirondack chairs made us feel right at home. We enjoyed taking the Plattsburgh Ferry to Vermont, playing badminton in the yard, watching the sunrise on the porch, and cooking in the spacious kitchen. Marco was an incredible host and we will definitely stay again at this lovely house.

We have been coming to Lake Placid for 15 years and this was by far the best house we’ve ever stayed in. Jonathan has thought of everything. There was no amenity we thought was missing. The house was immaculate. The property is beautiful and spacious; we had no issue accommodating 7 adults. Next time we come back to Lake Placid we will definitely be reserving this house again.

Host response time was exceptional, Directions and local tips excellent. The house was CLEAN. We stayed in winter surrounded by over three feet of snow so there wasn’t too much opportunity to adventure out on the property, but the views from within the warmth of the house were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, everything placed thoughtfully and convenient. Kids loved the game room. We brought a Roku and enjoyed family movies while wood burning stove toasted the rooms. Bedrooms large and comfortable. The drive was plowed and easily managed despite all the snow. Only 17 minutes from Gore Mountain, we felt happily lost in the deep Adirondacks. Wonderful retreat in a beautiful location. The unit was impeccable, attractive, and nicely furnished as part of the owner’s own home. We host our own personal family cabin as a vrbo and were so pleased to receive the same kind of quality and personal care that we offer to our guests. Lynne’s home exudes pride of ownership and special touches (snacks and one very nice breakfast with hosts) were offered to us. I’m their first guest who is vegan; Lynne went above and beyond to make me a tasty oatmeal breakfast. Can’t give enough stars to rate this very attractive, yet affordable, rental unit. Highly recommend. Thank you, Lynne and John, for your gracious hospitality!

I wish I could give Deb and Doug 1000 stars! The apartment was amazing, truly a home away from home! The kitchen was STOCKED with everything you would need from a waffle maker, pans, to coffee/tea, to eggs! Deb even made us homemade gingerbread cookies which were DELICIOUS. Two out of the four days that we stayed, we actually made breakfast and ate in the dining room! And saw hummingbirds out of the window!! The living room was super cozy and we made great use of the electric fireplace (The weather was still in the 50s when we went). It also had a very comfy sofa bed which I slept on while my parents took the bedroom. They said their bed was super comfy too! There was even a noise machine in the bedroom along with some fans (they really thought of everything!). The apartment was also incredibly quiet and private. And we honestly didn't even pay much mind to the low ceilings. We're all around 5'7" and we had absolutely no issues! We cant wait to visit again, we will definitely be back!

This place was great. I've stayed in many ABNBs and this place was very clean. It was a very short walk to downtown which was perfect to catch a music show or grab some beers at the brewery. The neighbors were nice too. parking was easy. It's a basement on 2 sides with a walkout to the street like the photos show so it's cool and darker which was great, bc I like to sleep in and I didn't get too hot at night. had a great stay. I would stay there again, and would recommend.

great stay! super clean with everything you need. walking distance to main Street in Saranac Lake and close to lots of restaurants and shops. hosts were friendly and can recommend things to do and restaurants. the window AC unit worked very well and kept the place cool.

Devon's place was perfect for my visit to Saranac Lake as it is a short walk into town and provided a parking spot for my car w/ kayak on top. The apartment would be great for a couple or with a couple kiddos or others willing to share a walk-through bedroom into the queen bed bedroom. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bedroom and kitchen had AC which was nice to have. Kitchen and bathroom well-equipped. The linens were comfortable and towels good + plentiful. There are several flights of stairs and a clawfoot bathtub to step in/out of (w/ shower) so you should be comfortable managing those. Devon was super-communicative and I enjoyed meeting and chatting briefly w/ her and she was very generous in enabling me to stay an extra night. Would definitely look to stay here again should I be fortunate enough to return. The nearby paddling is phenomenal, the apartment is steps away from the rail trail, and Lake Placid is less than 20 minutes away by car.

The location makes it easy to get out and about. We came to ski and snowshoe at The VIC, it was easy to get there. The apartment is just right for a home base. The water pressure in the shower is exceptional! Other reviews mentioned early morning noise, it's simply tiny feet walking about, and you have to really listen for them. I highly recommend Jon's Loj, and hopefully will be back again.

For the price, this is the perfect spot for a little weekend getaway. The restaurants and surrounding areas are inexpensive and good quality. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to get away from the city and into nature!

Sandy’s Moose River House was a wow wow wow stay for us !! Romantic 62nd birthday trip. The view from the living room window is like looking out a boat window—the water and wildlife are that close up and personal. Loons, cheery house wren, bombardier hummingbirds, a wood duck and her tiny babies parading by, and flowers bursting everywhere. Yummy outdoor hot tub, comfy covered back deck, lots of dishes and cookware, great linens, and easy coke and go access. Easy area to take peaceful walks. We went to Nick’s Lake Stare Park to hike around the lake—a glorious hike I’ve been doing since I was a child. Eating at Walt’s Diner (local vibe) and Frankie’s (giant Italian portions) was wonderful as always. Sandy was very warm and welcoming, without ever for a minute being intrusive. Perfect balance. On our list of top 3 Airbnb stays ever, in 14 years of being guests all over the world. We will be back !!

Lana was a great host and showed us around the place when we checked in. She let us check in sooner than planned which was great after a long travel day. The place was quiet, serene and comfortable. The showers were "amazing". My husband is over 6ft tall, so it's hard to find showers he can fit in comfortably. The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect. I'm not a fan of leather and that's all there was to sit on on the living room but I completely get why that's what is used, especially in an Airbnb with spills and germs for cleaning purposes. I just used a blanket to sit on, problem solved. She is doing some renovations and explained the new amenities coming soon. I would definitely recommend. Many thanks for a great experience.

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Kathy's! The place was very clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and all linens were fresh. The location was very convenient to all that Lake Placid has to offer but also removed just enough to have some quiet time away from the bustle of all the shops. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Placid in the future. I highly recommend!

This was a great place! My friends and I stayed for a girls weekend- it is much more spacious than it looked in pictures and there was a gorgeous lake view from the kitchen. Location was perfect and very easy to get to the village of Lake George. Would definitely recommend! :)
