The accommodation is located in a residential area of Porto Santo, outside the center of Vila Baleira. In our case, getting around wasn't so easy because we didn't rent a car during the stay. If you want to rent a car, the location of the accommodation is ideal, since there are plenty of parking spots on the street and Vila Baleira is just a 7-minute drive away. The same logic applies to the beach, although the beach closest to the accommodation, next to Bar Atlântico, is quieter than the region near the center and excellent for resting (we highly recommend it) - if you don't have a car, pay attention to the return because it is a (fast) climb. The host José was impeccable, having more than once taken the initiative to contact us to introduce himself, explain how the house and check-in work... We were very pleased.

The house is absolutely perfect. Opening the front door and seeing the sea would be enough, but on top of that, everything was sparkling clean, it had everything one may need, even for longer stays. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is an iron and an ironing board, the shower is massive... There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby and you can explore the island from there with ease. I went in the low season, in January, so many bars and restaurants were closed, but I didn't miss anything, I would really recommend going during the winter. If I ever go back to Porto Santo, I'm sure I'll choose Dina's house again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse! A clean & spacious apartment with a sea-view / sun terrace which we made good use of. We didn't meet in Antonio in person but he was extremely responsive & helpful, always replying quickly to messages & providing useful information on island attractions. Although this was our third visit to Porto Santo, Antonio's help was invaluable in arranging a trip to Cima Island & the real lighthouse ... something we had been keen to do since our first visit! Highly recommended.

Very well maintained house, very clean and well decorated. It has everything you need to spend a vacation as if you were at home, nothing is missing, from various types of pots, platters, tupperware, cutlery, all the utensils you may need to prepare food, … Mini vacuum cleaner, beach towels, beach umbrellas for guests to use, an outdoor bathroom ideal for removing sand, outdoor shower, outdoor dining table with umbrella for meals overlooking the sea, barbecue,… Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. Downstairs, a bedroom with a private bathroom, a living room and a huge dining room, a kitchen and an outdoor space with a garden and a barbecue. Parking is on the street. We really enjoyed our stay, we felt at home and we intend to return.
