The location is a perfect blend of convenience and serenity. The bungalow - one of a semi-detached pair - is set well back from the main road in the grounds of a luxurious, well-kept garden, giving it a feeling of tranquility, privacy and space, yet just a a few steps away are a great restaurant, a scooter/motorbike/bicycle rental, and the beach. The generous terrace was perfect for unwinding after a long day seeing the island, and the fan was a welcome feature. The bathroom was well-decorated, with a good flow of hot and cold running water. It was clear that the hosts took great pride in ensuring that the room and bed linen were cleaned regularly. There's the possibility to have breakfast served each morning. Overall, we would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the necessary amenities, and warm hospitality. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay so enjoyable, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Warm hosting, attentive staff. Change of scenery guaranteed in this quiet corner north of Sainte-Marie. It is certainly far from the city center and the bungalows are simple but it is more than enough. The cuisine is excellent. Arnaud is an exceptional and accommodating host. We really appreciated his recommendations. Bonus: if you like board games, this is an opportunity to play them too. If we go back to Sainte-Marie, we'll go back.

We had a great time at Linda and Vincent's, they are serious, honest and friendly people, always available for information or various needs "laundry, scooter rental, good restaurant addresses, atypical places to visit...". Breakfast is hearty, the jams are delicious and homemade, a treat... There is a place to park the scooter, direct access to the beach after the pool, a tavern 50 meters away "Chez Florinne" where you can even take the dishes to eat in your beautiful accommodation. We will gladly go back, we sincerely thank our hosts for the welcome and the wonderful stay they offered us. Kind regards, Irene and Philippe

We were looking for tranquility and calm in a traditional bungalow: this is what we found at Arnaud and Nouba's place. On top of that, we met welcoming and generous hosts. The kitchen, too, is generous and delicious (try the coconut sauce absolutely!). Arnaud helped us a lot in organizing our days on site and the rest of our trip. You can't miss on Sainte Marie!

We had a great family holiday here! Safe for the children. Hired a scooter and toured the island. Hired a boat ride and went snorkelling at a nearby sand island. And we bought fresh catch of the day at the fence by the seaside which was cooked to perfection by the lady who looked after the house. Outstanding value and I would do it all again!
