Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lofer

We spent a very nice and relaxing week in the Alpetalhütte. The host family welcomed us warmly. The location is perfect to discover the Berchtesgaden area, also on foot. Particularly soothing: the view from the sauna into the forest. Everything just wonderful.

We had a great time at Mark and Merry's spacious home. The house is well located close to the village and the bakery is a 10-minute walk. We did several beautiful hikes, however, we had to take the car to get there. The Klamms, as they call them, are beautiful. The area is beautiful at the foot of the mountains, you can see them directly from the back of the house. The bathrooms are extremely large and we enjoyed the multiple toilets and showers which simplifies life with several people in the house😉. Only negative point I have to add for people allergic to dust. Probably due to the fields surrounding the house, there are carpets which makes a lot of dust. Also I would have liked some flowers like in the photo.

The stay was very nice. Pauline is a very friendly and nice host. The apartment was clean and had everything you need (as described), even a walk-in closet. The bathroom is modern. In 10 minutes' walk you can reach two supermarkets, a bakery, a snack bar with pizza, kebab, etc. and an Asian restaurant. By car, you can reach Munich in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend staying at Pauline's and will certainly be a guest at Pauline's again in the future.

The place was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The furnishings were great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We traveled a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

We had a wonderful stay! Located in a fantastic location – surrounded by nature and perfect for hiking. Thanks to the guest card, we were able to take advantage of many great offers in the region. The apartment itself is furnished to a high standard, very tastefully decorated and offers fantastic views. Particularly noteworthy is the super friendly and helpful contact with Elisabeth – we felt completely comfortable right from the beginning. Clear recommendation, we'll be happy to come back!

Our stay at Uli's was excellent, what we loved was that Uli personally welcomed us and provided us with valuable tips and information. There are also various guidebooks in the room. We (4 gentlemen) were in Ruhpolding for an extended weekend of hiking. The place was an optimal size for the 4 of us. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, we hadn't really thought about the width of the sofa bed, so it was a bit tight for 2 of us. Instead of reacting according to the motto "bad luck", the two of them directly remedied the situation and brought about a solution. Totally super and absolutely not a matter of course!! 😍 You could always count on getting a prompt response to any questions. The communication and organization in general was super relaxed and reliable. All in all a great place with great hosts!

The two nights following our Italian holiday brought an incredible amount of peace and quiet. An absolutely relaxed, helpful and super nice host who was able to take care of a lot of our worries and we could just enjoy ourselves, even the dog relaxed, like never before in a foreign environment :) clearly - we will be back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the short but relaxing break!

It’s really beautiful stay and surroundings are really amazing. There are many hiking trails as well as the town itself is beautiful.

wow, what more can you say about this place. it is in the most beautiful location, hidden in the valley with wonderful views either side. Franz and family were lovely and accommodating, really helpful before arrival, and during my stay. I was working remotely for a few days, so did not get to enjoy the local bars and restaurants, but there was a very convenient large supermarket at the bottom of the road. Despite the wet weather, I went on runs and hikes in the area, crossing over the border into Germany, and the surroundings are beautiful. There also appears to be a very reasonable priced swimming pool nearby which i wish i was able to make the most of. Travel on the 180 bus from Salzburg Hbf was also very easy. Being able to enjoy the terrace come rain or sun made the whole stay very peaceful and enjoyable. there is a small kitchen to make some meals, the bedroom and living space is well equipped, and the private bathroom is also very good. Thanks very much to Franz and family!

A beautiful and complete apartment in a very beautiful location! In the apartment, everything you need is available. Beautiful walks from the cottage. Worth repeating :-)

Sylvia was super responsive (usually responded within a few minutes). The view from the apartment is unparalleled. You can see the mountains and glaciers from the windows. Parking is very easy (on the premises).

Spacious and cozy structure, well maintained and with all the necessary comforts

The apartment is just like on the photos: a lot of space, a lot of light and breathtaking views. Super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and many games like table tennis, mini billiard and more. A huge bonus in a hot weather is an access to the private lake few steps from the building.

Perfect apartment for a few days. Very clean, everything available! Very warm host who fulfills every wish. Come back!!!

The stay with Johanna and her husband was wonderful. The two are two kind-hearted and likeable people. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

Everything as described, Stephanie responded very quickly and the apartment has a personal touch. The location is of course great. Check-in is in person and you don't just get a key code, which we like. Everything was also provided for our child. There were plenty of towels and a small basic equipment in the kitchen such as tea, coffee, oil, cereal and milk.

We felt very comfortable. Bea and Alexander were very open-minded and had great tips for activities, parking, etc. We'll be back.

We were in Bad Hofgastein over the weekend with the family (partner, child and parents) and enjoyed our stay at Andreas' place very much. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Check-in and check-out were completely straightforward, Andrea was extremely friendly and helpful. A small minus point was that it was quite cool in the house. The water in the shower also took a long time to warm up and switching from the rain shower to the hand shower was hardly possible. Nevertheless, we liked the apartment very much overall and we can absolutely recommend the place, especially because of the great location, cleanliness and the nice hostess. Thanks for having us. 🥰

We felt very comfortable with Rainer. We were greeted in a super friendly way and Rainer had some tips for us in Schliersee. Rainer was always very quickly available for questions and actively supported us. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the Schliersee, there are very nice walks and hiking trails in the area. The apartment is very quiet and also has a nice balcony. View of the garden, from which you can even see mountains. We will be back!

Everything was perfect! Even the sofa was very comfortable to sleep on with a good mattress. Kitchen super equipped. The terrace is very cozy. Elisabeth is a very friendly and helpful hostess. We would have liked to have spent more time here.

We had an amazing stay at Nora & Peter's property recently. The apartment looks even better than the photos and the view is absolutely breathtaking. We have enjoyed our tea in the balcony watching beautiful sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and very thoughtful designed by the hosts. Everything is exceptionally clean . The kitchen was also very well stocked which was helpful for us to make meals occasionally. We also were in love with this town, loved to walk by the lake. Its so peaceful. In the summers, this lake is filled with water activities, swimming etc. There is a small convenient store 2 min down the road. Nora and Peter were constantly in touch with us and were very helpful from the start to the end. This is one of the best properties we have lived in and Nora & Peter are absolutely the best hosts which made our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
