Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Loch Ness

We absolutely loved our stay. Lovely comfy beds and a really homely feel about the cottage. We seen a red squirrel in the garden and lots of stags just outside crossing the river. We had dinner at the Fife Arms just along thr road and had a lovely walk too. Lovely friendly host too. Thanks Team Barbarella Beets

Sheila’s place is beautiful, clean and very close to all amenities. Sheila was very helpful and took time to show us the house etc. Sheila is always responsive. The house is nice and the decor was amazing. We cannot thank enough to Sheila for making our stay lovely and comfortable.

Me and some friends stayed in Katherine’s house. This was a lovely experience and would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting the area. Lots of beautiful views and scenery on the doorstep of this property.

We had a great few days at Catherine’s lovely place by Loch Rannoch. So peaceful and quiet! Great views over the loch and good local trails for walking, running and gravel biking. Will definitely be on the list for a return visit!

The four of us had relaxing days in Jo's house, within walking distance of all the sights of Inverness and good places to stop. The parking pass is great!

Rock Cottage was a great ‘study camp’ for my daughter in the run-up to her exams. The house was immaculate and very much a home from home. The beds were very comfortable. The highlight, though, is outdoors - the wild garden is enchanting and full of bird life - we loved sitting in the sun room watching the swallows outside, followed by the bats at dusk. It’s in a very peaceful location but only a short drive to Kenmore or Aberfeldy for shops and restaurants. We’d love to be back!

Fantastic home base for our family Highland vacation. The Wildcat was comfortable for our family with three teens—we especially loved the record collection and badminton. We would highly recommend.

What an amazing place! Keeping the beauty of such a historical building felt like we were stepping back in time. Lots of room for all 6 of us and especially appreciated the kitchen . In a great location to explore the outdoors . Beautiful location! We loved the place and had an amazing time! Loved the amenities especially the pool. The beauty and peacefulness of the place is hard to describe.

Angela's place in Findhorn is simply beautiful and we had everything we needed from the amazing location, to the accommodation itself being exactly as advertised to the way the apartment is decorated and furnished. Angela made everything very easy for us; it is true, she does reply within 1 hour and we felt so welcome when we arrived. The fire was lit, there was prosecco chilling and the lamps we already on. The bay in Findhorn is stunning and the apartment is right on the sea front. It's a short walk to the sandy part of the bay to see the seals and there is a lovely pub, The Kimberley, no more than 100 metres up the road. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend Angela's place and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Findhorn. Thank you again.

Simon has a gorgeous air bnb with a great price range. Only a 5 minute drive from Inverness retail park and about a 10/15 minute drive from town. If needing anything you might have forgot there is a wee coop just up the road. This was the cleanest and freshest smelling air bnb I have ever stayed in and hope to be back in future! Also the bed is super comfy and soft and to prove that we actually slept in today 😅

Simon, has been a great host , always looking to help his guest- also his place in a quiet residence area and near all major locations !! Will return to same place , if am in Inverness , next !!

A beautiful view outside and a great experience in the home!

Perfect location. Accommodation was very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Access to the secure garden was ideal with the kids. The house was spotless. Allyson was very friendly and helpful. Really loved our time in Carrbridge - thank you so much for having us Allyson and Poppy x

We had a wonderful week at Lorna’s lodge. The weather was favourable, and it was the ideal escape from city life, letting us truly relax and feel at home. Our dogs had a blast on the walks and loved swimming in the Spey. The lodge’s peaceful location was just what we needed,Highly recommend.

We had the loveliest time at the cabin. The place was as clean as can be and had everything we needed. The view is phenomenal and there are loads of little birds flying around which makes it even better to just sit back, watch and enjoy. Lindsay thought of literally everything which makes this place a 10/10. Would absolutely come back here!

This is a beautiful part of Scotland,all the walks that are local are beautiful. It’s a great base to have because there are lots of places within 30-45 minutes. The village is beautiful and we will be returning. Watch the shinty when you are there …

Really lovely and peaceful spot, log burner inside was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the shower working so braved a cold shower with a view but was a beautiful location and perfect stop for us doing the NC500! Thanks for having us and being so responsive/ helpful 😊

Sandra and Donald were incredible hosts. My wife and I travelled from the US to race in the Celtman Solo Point 5 xTri race. The cottage is ~15 miles South of Shieldaig (race start), but it was a beautiful drive through the Highland countryside.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

A lovely comfortable and welcoming place to stay, especially for day trips to near by sites and points of interest . The most peaceful and AMAZING views out the lovely wine does!!!! Cozy large couch for relaxing in the evenings , outside sitting area, black out curtains , towel warmer in the bathroom, and Directions were great! It was very close to Inverness City Center, & so so many points of interest 20-30 minutes away. LOVED IT.
