Struan Lodge Beauly 4 Star listing

JonathanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Susan’s lodge was a joy to stay in. We wanted a base near Inverness to do a lot of walking in the highlands, but that was comfortable to come back to at the end of the day. When we arrived, we were surprised as it seemed a larger than the pictures. It was the most well appointed airbnb we have ever stayed in. Excellent knives, 4 slice toaster, decent sized teapot and cafetiere, washing machine, even a freezer. It was lovely to wake up right next to the fields, and also a lovely spot in the evening outside, watching the swallows, swifts and chaffinches flit around and the rabbits on the grass with a glass of wine. Susan was very clear and specific in her communications, and looked after us very well. We were blessed with excellent weather, but if it had been a worse, we would have enjoyed some lowland walking, trips to Inverness and time inside the lodge. Definite book again when next in the area, so long as Susan has space!

Caberf Will Log Cabin

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We arrived early but no problem for Penny. Cabin was very clean and in a quiet road with the River Spey visible through the woods. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen had all facilities we required. Outside picnic table in the sun for much of the day. Within a stones throw of the Old Bridge Inn with great food and drink. Within easy walking distance of the centre of Aviemore for all amenities. There is a railway line at the back of the cabin but there is very little traffic and hardly noticed the trains. Thanks for a great stay. Would stay again.

Comfortable, cozy and well-equipped chalet situated in a great location for everything Aviemore has to offer. The hamper full of treats is a nice touch, and would definitely recommend for families. The only complaint is the lack of on-site recycling facilities.

Maple Lodge, Pondfauld

TobiasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The trip started with an unforeseen delay which resulted in a very late arrival. Me met us on arrival and made us welcome. The accommodation was warm and well stocked. The accommodation was exactly as described and the setting so peaceful. Perfect for the event we were taking part in but also for a stay with friends, spouse or family. My friend was injured on a walk and the care and generosity offered by Mel and her husband were second to none. Could recommend any higher!

The Garden House is a beautiful hidden place surrounded by a wild, colourful garden. We loved to sit outside and enjoy the smells of numerous flowers and the sounds of birds and insects. The house itself was more spacious than I had expected. Taking a bath after a day of hiking was a treat.

The Retreat at Tulloch Farm

MichelleRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Tulloch Farm is the perfect location to explore Lochaber and the Cairgorms with easy access to all the main roads. It is so peaceful on the farm. There are well laid out walks and paths around the farm and by the river which were perfect for us. We were so fortunate with the weather during our stay, but the cottage itself is cosy and warm with lots of games and books. Our children especially loved the well kitted games room onsite. Excellent recycling facilities too. We throughly recommend the Retreat at Tulloch Farm.

The Shieling At Old Pier House

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This Airbnb quickly became one of our favorite stays. The pictures do not do this place justice. We felt right at home in this cozy cabin. The views were beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, and exploring on the land was a fun adventure for our family. Osh provided great local recommendations for our family. The place is quite isolated and most restaurants and cafes closed early, so we cooked some meals in the cabin. The fish and chips place nearby was delicious and we would recommend giving it a try. Cafe82 down the road was also delicious for breakfast one morning. We would definitely recommend this stay to anyone staying in the Loch Ness area.

This is our third time staying at the Gun Club. We love the location in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and with a large, secure, enclosed area for dogs. The place is always clean and tidy and we can just turn up and set up home for a week. There is plenty of space for everything and the facilities are just what we need. We look forward to coming back time and time again!

We had a very very very stay in the chalet. Beautiful view. Good base to discover the area. The cottage itself could have been provided with certain amenities such as pans, glasses. But also some more cleaning supplies, so a small tip.
