Lovely cottage and surroundings. Fantastic host. Highly recommend. Unfortunately I had an accident in the mountains which curtailed our trip. Ian was very accommodating and to our surprise (completely unexpected) provided a partial refund - thank you :)

2 bed /2 bath luxury barn conversion with hot tub

MichaelRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Both couples in our party were highly impressed. Steven was very welcoming and we appreciated the supplies to get us started. Everything in the house is of a high standard and very comfortable. Outside there are superb views from outside seating and the hot tub. There is a good barbecue and we enjoyed cooking and eating outside. Llangollen, Bala, Ffestiniog and Snowdonia are nearby. Luke came and introduced himself and he and Steven are the perfect hosts, very charming and helpful but not intrusive or fussy. We definitely would love to come back

Had a lovely weekend break at Rosie’s property, the location was excellent just off the Rhyd Ddu path and in a lovely quaint quiet area. The cottage had everything you could ask for and was very clean and tidy, the hot tub being a lovely little touch. Had a really great experience from start to finish, Rosie was very helpful and the instructions provided were excellent. Would recommend to anyone contemplating!

From the moment we arrived, this Airbnb truly exceeded all expectations. The views are nothing short of stunning, the setting was pure magic. The house itself had absolutely everything we could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully considered from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy, comfortable furnishings that made it feel like home instantly. Our host was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Quick to respond, full of great local tips, and genuinely welcoming (and it made all the difference). A fantastic cottage for an old group of friends to reminisce and explore Snowdonia. Everyone really enjoyed the stay, spending most of the down time in the huge kitchen. Lovely house for a group - everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean and everything had been thought about which is really appreciated. Angharad was great throughout - flexible, helpful and really responsive. Definitely recommend and huge thanks :-)

Fabulous valley views Slate Miners 1860s Cottage

RachelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was lovely and everything we needed was there or in a convenient distance from the home. Jenny provided household items needed to survive your trip and was very helpful in pointing us to the right places to visit if we needed anything else, such as visiting the local laundrette for laundry. The house is located near the main road, meaning that travelling to Tywyn or other places was very easy to do. The local town of Abergynolwyn is very quaint and quiet, with a lot of walks around to do, and the town's station for the Talyllyn railway is a short walk away. Jenny and her husband were super friendly and super helpful for our trip, replying to any queries we had and helping us with the curious animals of the Welsh countryside visiting the house - watch out for those crows! We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Cosy Snowdonia cottage with panoramic sea views

GillianRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Just one point , we are quite elderly and the furniture in the lounge is very low and we struggled to get up off it, we got round that by putting all the pillows off the beds to higher it , also the path down to the cottage from the parking space is quite uneven , we are 80 and 75 but it wouldn’t be a problem for anyone surefooted . The balcony is just FANTASTIC

Frondeg Cottage

WendyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We stayed at the cotttage for three nights to attend my nephew’s nearby wedding. After a long drive it was wonderful to park the car and not need to use it! The cottage is lovely, cosy, clean and very welcoming. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. And its location was fantastic! We did have to park quite far up the street, but that was because we arrived on a busy Friday evening and definitely didn’t spoil our trip

I found Carole‘s place by chance on Airbnb but thank heavens I did. It was in the exact spot I wanted but never thought I would get anywhere there it. Carole was so warm, friendly, accommodating, a generous host & so helpful. I think I can easily say she & the cottage score 100 out of a hundred. It is one place I would be more than happy to return to. All communication with Carole before & during was so quick & clear. I can only praise my stay there, I had a wonderful few days & I will definitely go back there. Thank you so much Carole & to Michael for the wonderful scones

Bwthyn Llwynog-Mountain escape

John M.Rating, 5 stars1 week ago

Pen y Maes Cottage Criccieth

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely time in Criccieth! Edna's place is tranquil and perfectly located for lots of beautiful country and coastal walks. There are a nice variety of places to eat and some excellent local businesses (cafes, shops, sauna, etc). The folks in this small town were super friendly and the weather (cool and bit overcast) was perfect for what we were looking for. We highly recommend Edna's place: comfortable, clean, well-equipped and very peaceful. Edna is an excellent host: she provides excellent information and lots of local guidebooks and maps; she keeps the home in good repair; and knows how to make folks feel at home!

Very quaint, charming and "bijoux" little cottage in picturesque setting! Lots of quirky furnishings and fittings, very well equipped, comfortable beds and nice touch of welcome gifts and quality toiletries. Great location away from, but near to, all local amenities. Friendly neighbours and attentive host. A beautiful little place to spend a few days enjoying nature and relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. 👍

Hidden Gem nestled away in the heart of the town

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sarah was great, she sent through a video to show how to find this wonderfully hidden gem of a place. Location could not have been better for us as we'd planned to use the train for trips out and the station was under 10 mins walk away. Co-op is next to station for provisions and there is a laundrette if you need to get your washing dry before heading home! The cottage was fabulous just as we expected from the listed photos. Barmouth is a great place lots of cafe's, pubs & restaurants to choose from. Parking was not a problem we just paid to leave it in the recommended car park next door for convenience - Rob was lovely. If you are reading this review go on give it a go you will not be disappointed 😉
