Cottage vacation rentals in Lizard

We spent 3 nights staying at the Mowhay. It was the perfect mix of peaceful hideaway whilst being well connected to major roads and local amenities. The accommodation was well laid out with a very well equipped kitchen. Claire was great at communicating from booking to check out and we met Geoff a couple of times during our stay who was super friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful traditional Cornish cottage located within a very peaceful village but only 10mins drive from loads of beautiful beaches. Added benefit of a hot tub which unfortunately we didn’t get to use with a 2 year old in tow! Would highly recommend.

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

What a beautiful spot, the views are fantastic and there is so much outside space! We loved the fishing lake and hot tub area which made it for us! Prefect lovely and good value.

Really nice place very private & close walk to the beach. Great for the dogs safe garden. Would definitely.stay again if we was to visit Perrenporth. Thanks Ashley

Tracy was very responsive and helpful. You immediately felt like she really cares that her guests have every comfort and feel welcome. The clotted cream and scones on arrival were a lovely touch that we really appreciated. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you can possibly need. The area was perfect for us and easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit us St Ives, Falmouth to name just two. Our only regret was that it was only a 3 night stay this time but we will be sure to return for longer next time.

This place was such a great find! We’ve just got back from the most perfect week away. We originally only booked for 4 nights but we extended our stay as we were having such a wonderful time. The place is just lovely with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We loved our welcoming gifts too. Kate and Simon are brilliant hosts and were extremely easy to contact. St Agnes is a beautiful location with some superb coastal walks. There’s also plenty of places to go out for food and drink. The beach is stunning also. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is considering it (just book it!). Thanks again for a brilliant stay Kate and Simon!

We loved our stay and can't wait to come back! The surroundings and wildlife were beautiful. It was the perfect spot to relax and we had everything we could need for our short stay. Highly recommend gathering around the fire pit to watch the sun set across the treetops! We were sad we couldn't stay longer - but hoping to come back next year for our wedding celebrations! A huge thanks to Chris and the team for being so helpful, friendly and kind!

Perfectly and centrally located. It takes 1 min to walk to the harbour! Lovely inside with everything we needed. Our only slight negative was that there was no firewood. We had two days of torrential rain during our first 2 days and we felt cold. It would have been nice to put the fire on but no biggie - there were plenty of blankets and the shower is nice and hot. The cottage is next to a side street pub but we didn’t find it to be a disturbance. Lovely stay, would definitely come back to.

We absolutely loved staying in Catherine‘s cottage! We were greeted by Catherine who was super nice and made us feel right at home. We especially loved the Scones that were waiting for us in the kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect location for us to explore Cornwall for a few days during our road trip around the UK. We will definitely recommend this cottage to everyone who wants to visit Cornwall and we would love to come back for another stay.

We stayed in the cottage for 5 days. The garden was like a small, beautiful paradise, someone has very green fingers. The tub and views were amazing. Inside the cottage was exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would ever need, of a high quality. Great comfy bed too. Excellent location for exploration. This was a great quiet place to stay that was central for all the places around the Lizard we wanted to wander. Not too fancy, but great value and just exactly what we were looking for. The place helped us feel relaxed and easy going for a long weekend.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Mary was such a gracious and wonderfully charming host that I would have loved to spend more time at her cottage. During my stay, Mary showed me the surrounding area, including a beautiful garden and her field, and Mary & her partner Charles also gave me a lift to a pub for dinner. Mary & Charles are both very knowledgable and I enjoyed learning about the history and geology of Cornwall from them!

Great location and lovely setting for the well appointed, comfortable accommodation. John was friendly, helpful, communicative, interested and welcoming. We had a brilliant stay and definitely wish to return. Many thanks John.

Quaint Cornish cottage. So lovely and quiet. Great local pub. We have a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, clean thatched cottage with a wonderful (but steep) garden giving views over Cadgwith Cove. A very comfortable bed and everything we needed. We had 2 cars so needed to put one in the car park (£15 for the week), a pleasant 10 minute stroll away. A fabulous Cornish village with a friendly pub, with good food, and where we heard folk music and Sea Shanties. We bought fresh bread from a local artisan baker - “Le Petit Boulangerie” - bakes on Mondays and Fridays. Gorgeous walks along the coastal path in both directions. All in all a fabulous week. It was a wonderful stay in Mousehole! The description of the accommodation and the tips for the restaurants as well as for the activities were perfect. Rebecca was always available and was able to offer helpful solutions. Mousehole is a place to fall in love! However, parking space is scarce. But with a little creativity, there's always a solution. Thank you so much for having us.

What an incredible spot this place is! We attending Zoe’s accommodations over the weekend paying roughly £80 pp for 2 nights and it did not disappoint! We have stayed in many AirB&Bs across Europe and I could not believe the price of this one. It was spotless, furnished amazingly and the decor was perfect. Genuinely the best accommodation I have come across on this platform at such an affordable price. Check-in was smooth, checking out was a breeze and we had everything we needed, including an electronic booklet of recommendations! I will 100% be return to this spot 👌

I had a wonderful four night stay in Stoneturner's Cottage. Just the perfect location for walking along the beautiful coastal paths or exploring Lizard Village. Communication with Linda was excellent and helped ensure a relaxing break at this lovely cottage. Highly recommended.

Me and my partner spent a few days away in Cornwall for our first trip away. The apple loft was so warming and a wonderful place to relax and chill after spending the day exploring Cornwall. Alison was very helpful and fast to respond. The loft itself was spacious, homely and spotless. We could have spent our whole time in that loft it was so wonderful, we’ll happily come back and worth every penny. Thanks again

Lovely restyled traditional fisherman’s cottage in quaint alley way in the heart of Newlyn. Quiet location just minute’s walk from harbour, restaurants, great independent cinema & a few quirky shops. Cottage very well equipped for home cooking & eating in as well as for toiletries, extra towels, cleaning products etc. Flexible bed options. There wasn’t anything we wanted or missed except a dedicated nearby parking space. We knew parking might be tricky or costly beforehand but host helpful re options & we found free on-street spaces at all times so not an issue. Newlyn is not commercialised or frantic as is St Ives & has its own low key charm. We walked to surrounding attractions - Mousehole, Penzance, St Michael’s Mount, Penzance lido & used local buses (stops only meters from cottage) &/or trains to Minack Theatre, Porthcurno beach, St Ives. Natasha is a very friendly & responsive host & cottage also has supply of info on things to do, places to eat, etc. We loved it!

This was our first proper holiday as a family and we couldn’t choose better. We have felt right at home and it was so peaceful and quiet. We live in quiet place but compared to that it felt like we live in London 😅 the scones were amazing. Great recommendations. Lovely hosts towards us and our crazy boxer who loves people but dogs not so much! We will definitely go back for a bit longer (maybe just the two of us) as it’s very romantic and relaxing place!
