We've stayed at this location multiple times. It has everything we need i.e comfortable bed, well supplied kitchen (Hope includes coffee, creamer and sugar), bathroom with plenty of towels, hair dryer. shampoo, condiioner and body wash included, laundry facilites, iron and ironing board. All great. The landscaping is so pretty and there is a private patio with comfy furniture for enjoying the CA sunshine. Highly recommend.

Five stars all around. This was my wife and I's second time staying at Mai's place (the first time being one year ago on our honeymoon!). We love SF, and Mai's place is the perfect respite from the city while remaining relatively close to most areas of interest. Mai is so kind and accommodating, and her place surely does feel like home! We look forward to staying here again and again in the future.

Such a serene location! Nestled amongst the trees, this Airbnb will have you feeling like you’re a world away without being far from amenities at all. My husband and I enjoy staying here tremendously. The place was spotless and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lea was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve ever come across and made us feel warm and welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great location and stay. I was traveling with my wife and baby. Radhia was extremely understanding and flexible with check-in. The space itself was a little small for three but we made it work.

Very quiet and peaceful setting for relaxation and reading and writing. Easy walking to a lot of good restaurants and public transport. Rainbow and Zan were easy to communicate with and facilitated an early check in which was helpful. Would stay here again!

It was a great stay. They have a beautiful property and garden. Berkley is a great walking city. It was fun to explore. This was my 2nd time to Berkeley, and my wife and kid's first. She loved the city. Thanks for a great stay.

Was a great option for close proximity to the Google campus which is where we needed to be. Neighborhood seemed to be safe and walkable. It’s evident they are very involved with the beautiful landscaping and gardening on/around the property therefore notable tree pollen/allergens during the spring time. Overall a cute, cozy, and darling stay!

Very quaint and clean. Beautiful and inviting grounds. Close to amenities. Loved the opening windows on all four sides. Easy and convenient access. Loved the attached laundry facilities. HIGHLY recommend this little gem!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Very accommodating and very clean and quiet. Arthur was the perfect host! Our only issue was the parking. We were in San Jose for a church conference that took place off of 1st Street near 237. We wouldn't get back to the cottage until after 10 p.m. so had to park a block or so away both nights. But, it won't stop us from returning. We will be back for next year's conference. Thanks again Arthur!

This was one of the most beautiful airbnbs we’ve stayed in! The house is gorgeous and the property is so cool - our kids loved all of the animals. Laurel is so communicative and helpful. We truly had the best time!

When we entered Mary Lee’s backyard where the unit is located, we were instantly pleased with how beautiful and well landscaped it is. The studio is well built, with attention to detail and the use of quality materials. The décor was also pleasant and well thought out. In addition, we were satisfied with the fact that they provide 100% cotton towels and linen for the bed. The kitchen was well stocked with stainless steel cookware and everything we needed. Mary Lee and her husband David were friendly and responsive to all our requests. We would be happy to stay at their place again.

Eugenia’s place and Eugenia and her husband are fantastic… One of the most comfortable organic cotton beds I’ve ever slept on, the most enchanting, beautiful property, and every appliance state of the art, efficient and intentional with the touch of love. Eugenia brought me teas, and various unconventional items I asked for. And the natural light and airflow were wonderful. And very healing and the most peaceful and healing neighborhood I’ve stayed at in the East Bay. For anyone looking for a healing retreat, Book this place as soon as possible

Alexi's place was wonderful for a three night, mid-week stay. His place is clean and spotless. Quiet and peaceful. The pictures and description are accurate. I found the neighborhood behind his house to be a lovely and hilly place to walk. There is a teeny bit of a walk from parking on the street in front of the house to the unit at the back of the property, but that takes only one minute and is easily doable by anyone. Just keep that in mind if you need to make multiple trips to bring in your things. Alexi is a great host. Very communicative, kind, and easy to interact with.

Melodie is the perfect host. She is genuinely concerned with the comfort, hospitality, communication and needs of her guests. Her description of the Casita in The Trees matched the pictures on the website and fulfilled our needs for relaxation and quiet at the end of our busy days. I looked for an Airbnb that would offer accessibility for temporary mobility issues. The accessibility and helpfulness of Melodie made our stay so much easier. I realized on our drive back to WA State that I left a piece of jewelry in the bedroom. I immediately contacted Melodie and her son retrieved it. Melodie was quick to respond and let me know she would mail it in a few days. Also, asked, if I would need extra insurance. The Bon Air Center down the hill and a few miles from the Airbnb provides every type of retail and dining need nearby. Grocery store, bakeries, restaurants, retail, etc., and outdoor seating provides the perfect place for whatever suits your needs. Warm regards, Linda and John

Xiaol’s place was nestled in a super quiet suburban neighborhood. It was peaceful, we didn’t hear a thing when we slept. The house was spacious enough we enjoyed daily yoga. My husband loved the bedroom mattress. I really loved the sofa bed because it was firm and even. I don’t sleep on soft mattresses so the sofa bed let me sleep like a baby. The kitchen was a good size and had everything we needed. I enjoyed complete privacy while Xiaole responded our questions but left us undisturbed. The large screen TV was pristine and very easy to use as well. The house had what we exactly needed. So if you need a private, peaceful house, you can’t go wrong with Xiaole’s listings!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in a beautiful cabin in La Honda, CA last weekend, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the redwoods — the perfect escape from the city. What made the stay even more special were the incredible hosts. Devora and her husband who own the property were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and it really made all the difference. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat in nature or just a memorable weekend getaway, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back!

This is the ONLY home I will stay in when visiting my sister in Menlo Park. Beautiful setting, quiet, tastefully designed, responsive hosts 10/10!

This is a wonderful apartment. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware, and included an assortment of cooking oils, vinegars and spices. The amenities included quality bath products, and nice, plush robes. We spent seven days here, and found it to be comfortable in all respects. The garden behind the house is delightful. The BART train station (providing access to Dan Francisco and more) is walking distance from the property. The property is quiet and peaceful.

Excellent stay! Flora was very responsive and friendly. I will be looking for Flora’s place next time I’m in San Jose.

We had a lovely stay. Mary and Hank were very hospitable and attentive. They have put a lot of care into their home. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Hank who directed us to the airbnb in the back of the property. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the closest we have felt to a home away from home. Andrew and Leigh have created a hilltop haven that I liken to Big Sur with a hint of Esalen. For those that have never been to either - it was a space to get back in touch with nature and ourselves. Andrew was so helpful and perfect in his communications in the Airbnb app and also in person. The full kitchen gave the option of cooking meals, the small touches of bathroom extras and the detergent for laundry was generous and so appreciated, and the bed was very comfortable. The little vanity desk was just right for working and putting on makeup in natural light. The highlights for us personally involved their animals! Feeding the goats, and meeting their dogs, Rufus and Heidi, was so fun. Heidi is a true boss. We hope to return one day to “Heidi’s Place” and highly recommend this wonderful retreat.
