1 Bed in Lazonby (SZ176)

Beautiful surroundings, very remote and perfect for couples wanting to get away into the countryside. Slight issues with access to walks as it states private land and wasn’t very clear on where we could walk but spoke to owners who quickly helped. Heating system needs looking into as we could not adjust it but overall it was a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend to also visit The Highland Drove for food, this was recommended to us by the owners and it was fantastic!

Loft in the Lakes (double ensuite entire unit)

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This Airbnb was fantastic for our trip for hiking around the Lake District- great location and free on-street parking (easy to find a space). The loft apartment is spacious and has everything we needed. Dawn and Ken were excellent hosts, very helpful and responsive, and it was great to see their dog Jimi too!

Absolutely loved our stay in Penrith, North Lakes! The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect two-night stay. Neil was friendly, responsive, and made everything really easy for us. Highly recommend this place - we’d definitely return!

The Nook Cottage Annex

LeanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a hidden gem of a place this is. We booked last minute for 2 nights and Helen was amazing at answering questions quickly helping us to ensure that her annexe was suitable for us and our dog. The annexe is wonderful, very quirky and chic and I fell in love. Having your own garden was super for our dog and we met resident Mr Gus (Helen's dog) who is super sweet. We would happily book again when we need to be back in the area.

The Coach House - Eden Valley

MelissaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We couldn’t have requested a better location, stay or hospitality if we had tried! Quite seriously, everything was perfect and the open fire is an added bonus! We had a beautiful time exploring the local area, knowing we had a wonderful semi home to come back to. Leonora was available at all times, not that we needed anything, but reassuring to know she was always available. Wonderful host and will definitely book again x x
A small outdoor seating area features a light-colored folding table surrounded by four matching chairs. A tray with cups and snacks rests on the table. Lush green hedges and shrubs frame the scene, complementing the cottage's warm stone exterior.

Mickledale @ Wetheral Cottages

EmmaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Fantastic little cottage we used the what3words to find it which was more accurate, we had an issue with the hot water but the host messaged us straight back with a video to explain how to sort it out, we used this as a base for travelling to pooley bridge where my family was camping, the cottage had a park just at the end of the street which was great for my twins who loved it, and my husband loved the coffee machine it was an ideal base location for us we didn’t get chance to go to the pub at the end of the street but it looked very cosy

Beautiful family home with extensive gardens

KateRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What an incredible house and garden. Perfect for big families and kids. Catherine was a fantastic host and went out of her way to welcome us and hep during our stay. The house is perfect whatever the weather as it was big enough inside to get your own space, play hide and seek and amuse the kids and adults with all of the games, toys and karaoke machine. The boys loved the trampoline and treehouse the most. The garden is absolutely beautiful and extensive. We would definitely return!
