A peaceful rural retreat

"A recently refurbished self-contained annex in the midst of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Close to the Chilterns, the pretty market towns of Thame and Watlington and just 20 minutes drive from Oxford. There are excellent walks and numerous pubs and restaurants with delicious food and warm fires. The property is a separate annex from the main house and is perfect for a relaxing break. It has a sitting area and kitchen, a bedroom with beautiful views, a superking bed and a modern bathroom.

In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in March/April 2025!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. Small Heated Residential Studio with En Suite set in a secluded and private area of my garden, just off the lovely historic high street - with stunning range of Independent Shops yet only minutes walk from beautiful Chilterns countryside all around and only 5 minutes walk from The Ridgeway. Henley on Thames, Oxford, Wallingford and Thame are all within easy distance as are the many picturesque surrounding villages. Watlington is a beautiful small town said to be the smallest in England!

Our newly renovated self contained studio is attached to our home and is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of clifton Hampden. We are a five minute walk from the Thames footpath which is perfect for enjoying this beautiful stretch of the river either towards Wallingford or Oxford. The studio has an equipped kitchen area and separate shower room. There is parking and the studio has its own separate entrance. The decor is modern and clean with a cosy ambiance.

Quiet beautiful village

Independent private unit with private facility next to main house. I will be available if wanted. Very small, especially for two but manageable, hence the price, ( I try to keep the price as long as I can ), but very pretty, very comfortable bed for two, and good Wifi and good shower, a big fridge in the garage for your foods, beer or wine. You will not see me unless you want to!!!?. It is not a luxurious cottage. The Crown and Inn at Emmington there.
