The Water Shed

JillRating, 5 stars9 months ago
It is ideal for two people. Fully equipped accommodation. VERY comfortable bed and throughout. Pleasant outlook. Decorated to an exceptionally high standard. Pristine condition throughout. Easy parking. Quiet location. Short walk to the pubs via the duck pond. Well stocked community village store/café. Other attractions including Rutland Water and villages, are only a short drive away. We would certainly stay again.
A framed print on a wall displays a playful typographic message instructing to wash hands. The words are arranged in a bold, contrasting style, combining black and white lettering for emphasis.

Thank you so much Amy for a lovely stay. Our little one settled in really comfortably and we had a great night sleep too. We did wish we were able to stay another night as it is a lovely place. I highly recommend.

Isolated Caravan

LydiaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Great place for a nights stay if you love the outdoors, there is enough privacy to feel secluded but not completely isolated as you're only a field away from the host's house. There is no electricity and an eco toilet so you are going back to basics, so prepare ahead. Sue will give you a big bottle of water. We took our own firewood and toasted marshmallows on the camp fire. Sue is a laid back host. It's lovely waking up to the horse in the next field. This is my second stay at Sue's place and it was just what I needed. Thanks again!
A charming stone building is visible across a tranquil pond, surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees. Wildflowers and grasses thrive along the water's edge, contributing to the natural beauty of the setting. The scene evokes a sense of peace and connection with nature.

Luxury rural retreat near Rutland water

LukeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lisa and her family were very welcoming. Description of property very accurate, very comfy / cosy stay. Entrance to location a little difficult to pull in and pull out, but does not mark down. Family dogs, and farm animals all very exciting and friendly, Lisa was wonderful with our toddler and happy to show and tell the animals. Will return for our next trip past!

The Garden Room Rutland

Perfect location and super friendly hosts. Photos are great but the place is even better in real life. Definitely on the list to re visit if we are in the area x
A soft, plush sheep toy is positioned on a beige carpet, adding a playful touch to the room. Behind it, a wooden dresser with three drawers and decorative handles rests against the wall, accompanied by a simple mirror atop the dresser reflecting the cozy space.

Puddle Duck Cottage

RebekahRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Such a beautiful cottage. Sally really has thought of everything to make it a home from home. It was very clean with everything we needed for a comfortable, hassle-free stay. She went above and beyond, providing little extras and even a gift for our dog which was gratefully received. Lots of helpful info provided for the local area and walks etc, which is so valuable when visiting somewhere new. So happy to have found this beautiful, tranquil place. We will visit again.

Rachel was very responsive with her communication and met all our needs. We wanted to check in early and bring our small BBQ which she agreed. This made our stay absolutely perfect. Both Rachel and her partner were very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We definitely will be coming back again. 😃
