We loved the space! Being right next to Fort McAllister was fantastic, and it was just the right amount of space for me and my kid. We loved seeing the family of deer right outside every morning. The bed and comforter were so cozy, and there were lots of kitchen and cooking amenities for longer stays.

Everything you need is here for the perfect home-base for your visit. We're a short walk to Forsyth Park, coffee shops, great restaurants, shops, & only 2 miles to River St. Full disclosure: This is a fun & busy part of town with street parking, street noises, & a fire station a few blocks away. Sorry no pets, service or ESA. (I have severe allergies)

It is conveniently located in a quiet, southside neighborhood: less than a mile from Lake Mayer park, about 10 minutes from Sandfly & Skidaway, 15 minutes from downtown and River Street, and only 30 minutes to Tybee beaches. There is covered parking at the back and a beautiful live oak tree in the front.

Starlander Ltd.: The XL Suite, w/ private bath

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

I booked this place as a stop over in a 17 hour drive because it allowed pets and was about halfway between where we were leaving and our destination. We wish we could have stayed longer because the surrounding area really is beautiful. We were originally pretty worried about finding the place at night since the area seemed remote. The road itself to get there is dark but the place was easy to find and well illuminated at night. Once we were there everything was very clean and the place had everything we needed!

This was my second time staying with Ella. Just like the first time, it was great. Ella is so easy to work with and very proactive and responsive. The unit is lovely and was clean and ready for me when I checked in. Nice quiet neighborhood with a lovely park across the street to walk my dogs. Lots of playground equipment there for someone with kids. The location is great and just minutes away from most any activities and sites around Savannah. I don't get to Savannah as much as I'd like but when I do, if Ella's place is available, I'll definitely stay with there again.

Super cute space in a great location! Very walkable to plenty of places. Despite being in a popular area the neighborhood was clean and quiet and we were able to easily find street parking. Kara was kind and response and the space is exactly as described. very clean. wish there was more than one roll of toilet paper provided and wish i would’ve known there was no body soap provided so i would’ve come prepared. other than that it was great! highly recommend.

Affordable Comfort in the Historic District

What a wonderful place to stay! The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. Queen sized bed, kitchen area, sitting area, washer and dryer, outdoor balcony, even a little work area! The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe walking around at all times. It's a bit of a hike to get to the river walk area, but we had no problem finding parking downtown, and there was always parking available at the home. I highly recommend Patricia's place!
