Vacation rentals with a patio in Lexington

This little retreat is so peaceful and serene. It's the perfect place to unplug and just soak up the nature. The apartment was cozy and had all the right touches to make you feel at home.

My husband and I decided to extend our honeymoon stay in the area and the lodging we had been staying at couldn’t host us for the extra day, which is how we came to find this gem! We loved this apartment and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was great and the home itself was just STUNNING. From the low lights & jazz music playing on arrival, to the cute & homey decor, to all the extras (robes, espresso, cozy blankets), this place completely impressed us. Oh, and the outdoor area was just an extra plus! The host was super responsive and sweet and couldn’t have possibly done anything better, it was all perfect! We would 100% recommend this stay and we hope to return for an anniversary trip!

awesome area. was skeptical at first because as some people know downtown next to wasena is a bit sketchy, but overall was amazing and comfort level was awesome! pets are allowed which again, is another plus. thanks neil!

We loved the space, everything was clean and in order. While I did not want for a thing, I happen to be an extremely tall woman (6'2") and I did hit my head on more than one occasion. That being said, if you are very tall, know that there are some low ceiling areas. Other than that, Susan provided a wonderful place to enjoy several days, even though they were rainy :(

Our stay at The Secret Garden was very enjoyable. Mark was a great host. The apartment was a recently renovated upstairs of an old house in the West End neighborhood of Roanoke. Accommodations were very nice. The place was very clean, and all appliances were new. The light breakfast and snacks were a good touch.

Great stay! The place was super clean and easy to get into. A perfect spot for a week in mountain getaway. The host was super responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this stay!

This is a beautiful home and wonderful location! We stayed for my sister’s graduation. We were welcomed with water bottles, snacks and a lovely home feel. Because of graduation, we didn’t get to hang out as long as we would have, but it was wonderful to see the playground outside the back porch in the distance, have wonderful food in walking distance and the beautiful art alley. Owners were receptive and very friendly. I would love to come back when I have more time to explore.

Martha's house is just like the pictures! Immaculately clean, artistic, quirky, and full of personality. Spectacular views. Less than 10 min. to W&L and the heart of Lexington. Martha is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and absolutely communicates well. We arrived late at night, and the keypad checkin was a breeze. Highly, highly recommend!

What an outstanding experience. There were four of us and the drive to the house was beyond "Virginia quaint" and so beautiful. The Blue Ridge was viewable from many vantage points at the house. The bedrooms were large and beautifully furnished. Kitchen was huge with all the equipment and table settings you could ask for. The enclosed porch allowed us to revisit childhood with the animal neighbors that wandered through. The feel of the house when you walked in was, "welcome, kick your shoes off and stay a while". Our host was pro-active in reaching out to us. Gave us a great recommendation for pizza/pasta/fun nearby and she was all around great to work with. We already have plans for our next visit!

Great spot near downtown Lynchburg in the historic district. Very thoughtful design and finishes throughout. Would recommend!

Amy and Gareth made sure to think about every detail. They made sure that the purpose of our trip was celebrated. Amy provided a list of local recommendations and it was so helpful! The aesthetics of the house is also so natural and relaxing. There was no need to stress out about anything because the house came fully equipped. The walking path down to the river was also so beautiful! We cannot thank them enough for such a memorable time!

It was such a wonderful and peaceful stay at Wal-Lu farms! The view was absolutely amazing. We loved watching the cows, the deer that visited us every evening and the horse that kept us entertained from across the road! The house was beautifully decorated, cozy, and everything we had hoped for! We truly enjoyed our visit and can’t wait until our next stay! The bright beach-like aesthetic was really enjoyable. Chocolates and bottled water welcomed us, and we took advantage of the local postcards that would be stamped and mailed for us! Nespresso machine with a variety of pods was a treat for my daughter and me. Beds gave us both a very comfortable night’s sleep after a long day of driving followed by a 3-hour tour of Liberty University. The neighborhood was peaceful, and family-friendly. We would be happy to stay again and recommend it to others.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Randolph’s mountain getaway! The space was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—just the perfect escape from the noise and busyness of everyday life. Randolph was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and helpful! He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and offered great local tips in his guidebook. If you're looking for a relaxing, private retreat in the mountains with a thoughtful and welcoming host, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

Very clean and a great place to sit back and relax after a long day out. The living room features two sliding glass doors with screens, which was perfect for the weather in early-June. That and the covered balcony was where we sat back and relaxed.

Unit was perfect for our long weekend! We had one small hiccup at check in but the host was quick to answer/reply and got it resolved right away! The home was clean and location is perfect for staying in the village! Would definitely rent again!

Absolutely a gem!! Loved the super clean, comfortable (especially the huge soft sofa!) space. Kitchen had all the basics we needed, and everything worked as expected. Was the perfect location for our home base as we section-hiked the Appalachian Trail for a week. Would definitely stay again!
