Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Peace, peace, perfect peace, an absolute gem of a place with a big sea view next to Wemyss castle. Two bedroom, rustic flat overlooking the sea. Wood burning stove. Seconds from the beach. Coastal and woodland walks abound. Very quiet village with a lovely cafe, community pub and heritage centre. Due to its quiet nature there is abundant wildlife, seals, seabirds and deer. The Kingdom of Fife is an eclectic and friendly patchwork of life and land, with a huge heart at its core.
