Studio sized log cabin with direct access to Hayward Lake and located just 3.5 miles from the Hatchery Creek Trailhead (Birkie Trail and CAMBA mountain bike trail access at this trailhead). Or you could go hang out at the city beach just half a mile away or launch your boat at the public launch (same place). Also just a short walk to downtown for great coffee, food and drink. It can accommodate large groups with as many as 12 in the cabin on beds and pull out furniture and up to 3 more in a seasonal bunkhouse. The Brook Cottage is nestled back in the woods alongside Mosquito Brook, approximately 5 miles from downtown Hayward. You will find yourself a relaxing and peaceful retreat where you can unplug and cast a line in the water. A few big brook trout have been caught for dinner! This cottage was originally built for Deep Wood Resort in Cable, WI in the 1940's and moved to it's new location in the 1980's. Through out the years many have enjoyed hanging their hat at this cozy Northwoods getaway.

The views are of tamarack marsh, pine and oak woods, and the lake. It is a three room retreat for couples, solo adventurers, families with kids, and dogs. The Suite is not a good fit for four (4) adults.
