“We just used the hut for one night passing through Norway. The hut was sparkling clean, communication with the owner was good and fast, it was perfect for what we needed.”
Peaceful cottage by idyllic river exit. The cabin is simply made without water and electricity from the solar cell. Heating in the form of wood stove. Hotplates and refrigerators on gas. There is a private bombway to the door. Possibility of using a boat, and otherwise good fishing. This is a quiet place for great nature experiences.
“The cabin is a dream come true for those who want to relax, get away from the sights and cities, adventure, fishing or hiking. The surrounding nature is stunning and the cottage does not have much equipment but everything you need in such an environment. I would come back!”
The house is located in Vestringsbygda, rural with a view of Aurdal and the ski lift. Is an old small farm. The owner lives in a small house next door. The owner does not normally live in the rental house. Those who rent have the whole house to themselves !!!!!
“Arne's place is so unique, full of amazing antique furniture and all the home-grown potatoes you can eat! When we arrived it had started to snow, but Arne had built the sweetest fire in the wooden fireplace in the living room and we felt the warm welcome! Three bedrooms are upstairs, and the bathroom is downstairs. The view from the windows showed a beautiful pastoral valley, covered with a light snowfall. There isn't much going around the area (unless you're a downhill skier staying during ski season), but that was fine for us, as we were in the recovery stage of our vacation and appreciated hanging out around the blazing fire, eating mashed potatoes, and taking lovely walks.”
