Our stay at this charming cabin near Red River Gorge was an absolute dream. The cabin itself is impeccably clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy home-cooked meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The location simply couldn't be better for exploring Red River Gorge. We were just a short drive from countless trailheads and scenic overlooks, yet the cabin felt wonderfully secluded and private. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying our coffee on the porch surrounded by trees was pure bliss. Our evening was spent unwinding in the hot tub. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear directions. Every detail was thought of.

Beautiful and seemed brand new. Everything was spotless. Well equipped. Very very private. No people or other houses anywhere near. One thing to note is that the driveway is very steep with loose gravel so even in spring or summer and in dry conditions it is difficult to get up without four wheel drive. My front wheel drive SUV barely made it up - wheels spinning the whole time. Would not have made it up if it had been very wet or snowy. Also would prefer the king size bed were in a private room. The king is in the upper loft which is wide open and does not have a door so if there are multiple people or couples this may be an issue.

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation to the Red River Gorge. Spacious, new, and clean getaway on a quiet gravel road in the woods. We were close to all of the activities and restaurants we planned to visit. We were also fortunate to meet Mike and Go, since they live nearby and were working on another property. They were wonderful and very responsive. Loved it!

This is our third year in a row staying at "Bill's Place" and, as usual, it never disappoints! Feels like our home away from home!

We loved our stay at Dockside Cabin. It was the perfect location for our girls hiking trip. The cabin has plenty of spaces to hang out, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub with the view of the lake. It was nice having the opportunity to kayak right out the door, and the lake area was very peaceful. We finished off the weekend with the RRG ziplines and loved how close it was the cabin.

We all enjoyed our stay very, very much and are already planning to come back. It was absolutely phenomenal—everything went above and beyond our expectations. The location was beautiful, the accommodations were clean and cozy, and the entire experience made our trip unforgettable. From the little details to the overall atmosphere, everything was perfect. This was our first trip with our two month old! Sunday Silence was the perfect stay with beautiful, calm surroundings. We made use of the hot tub and campfire area. Pretty close to most restaurants and hiking trails. We also brought our dog who was in heaven with the fenced off area. Would recommend for a quiet weekend getaway~

Kenny is one of the VERY BEST hosts I've had the pleasure of communicating with. He was extremely responsive + incredibly proactive. Lonesome Dove is the most spectacular place I've stayed in the RRG. The only real negative is being able to get there. Kenny gave us wonderfully detailed directions (we still got lost on a few turns) and to absolutely no fault of his, the roads are just treacherous. I have a newer AWD SUV and I made it but there were many times I truly thought I was going to get hung up (no cell service to call a tow truck) BUT I came out unscathed. A utility 4WD is my opinion, totally necessary. Once you arrive you are met by the darling cabin and the breathtaking views - a haven like none other. All -in-all this is a gem of a dwelling in every way!

Adorable cabin was very clean and appropriately furnished. Right on street but a very low traffic area so it was peaceful and nice. Loved the sound of the rain on the roof and quaint back deck setting. Dennis was friendly and communicative. I'd recommend and stay again if I was in the area.

Loved this place! It was out in the woods and peaceful, yet close to attractions. Beds were comfortable and back deck was a haven. Great bbq place only minutes away. I would, however, be worried about driving into this location with excessive snow and ice conditions. Overall, would definitely return here.

We spent our 10 year anniversary at Moonbow and really enjoyed every moment here. It's so quiet and private which is exactly what we were looking for. The bed and couch were extremely comfortable, we loved the grill for cooking dinner, the hot tub was perfection, and we spent a lot of time around the fire pit. We also found the kitchen well stocked with cookware and enough dishes for two people to get by just fine. No issues with the water as we saw in mentioned in some other reviews. We really appreciated the detailed guide provided by the hosts. It's a really special place and hopefully we'll be back someday!

Quaint, well-appointed cabin off the beaten path! An awesome location for a great weekend get away from the hustle and bustle. Alec was very communicative and his directions were spot on in finding the place despite finding ourselves on a few gravel roadways. The cabin had everything needed for two, but would easily have accommodated the whole family. The cabin could sleep up to 6 if a couple of the kids are small. A great stay overall!

We really enjoyed staying here, very nice and clean. And the view is amazing. Perfect for if you are coming in to go ride at hollerwood park.

the place is absolutely marvelous for a getaway from the busy world. Has all the amenities needed and looks better in person than the already amazing pictures. Yhe only recommendation I have is to get any groceries you need at the time of check in. the closest convenience store is a while away.

Our family had a great stay!! We enjoyed lots of fishing, grilling out, using the little boat and peddle boat and the hot tub was wonderful. Not far from the Red River Gorge attractions and the area around was beautiful. Such a beautiful location to wake up to and drink your coffee while watching the fog rise from the lake. We also saw a few deer. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing and private get a way. Would love to stay here again in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Kenny and Sherry’s place at Red River Gorge! The property is stunning — peaceful, scenic, and the perfect spot to relax after exploring the area. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, and they truly went above and beyond with the little extras we didn’t even think to pack. It’s clear they care deeply about their guests’ experience. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend staying here — we’ll definitely be back!

if your looking for a secluded getaway the cabins are a great choice. quiet, secluded perfect for the much needed weekend getaway... turn off your phone cause at&t does get good service there and just relax with the sounds of nature or a campfire.. 100% will be back again and gladly spreading my recc9mendation for larry and his cabins
