The accommodation is really quiet with a view of the beautiful mountains. I recommend eating at home because the dishes are delicious! Useful info, we took the house because it is close to Adam's Peak as the crow flies, but on the mountain road we are 3.5 hours from the main entrance (Halton), the nearest entrance is much more complicated and much longer (between 9 and 13 hours of hiking back and forth), it is the Ratnapura road. Finally Aryia is super responsive and can offer you small tours if needed. I would highly recommend this listing.

Our stay at this modern cottage nestled amidst the tea plantations was absolutely wonderful! The design of the cottage is stunning – a perfect blend of contemporary style and cozy comfort. Waking up to the serene views of rolling green hills was truly a treat. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what our family needed to unwind and relax. A special mention must go to Mathi, the house caretaker. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From preparing breakfast to helping with laundry, nothing was too much trouble. His warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful cottage for anyone seeking a tranquil and stylish escape. The garden and the view is amazing and can’t be better. Surrounded by nature and nature sounds. Everything is green. Very isolated but only 5 minutes walk to the street where you can get a Tuktuk. You can’t expect a western standard of furnitures and house. You are surrounded by birds, bats, cats… amazing. But as you are in the middle of nature also ants, insects. The owner cooked twice for us, also went to the groceries and cleaned the kitchen. He prepared fantastic meals. All this free of Charge !! Unbelievable. He helps with everything you need and is available 24/7

The place was wonderful with the surrondings of Nature, and the place was comfortable with good furniture. Best part was the caretaker Mr. Gamini who provided us a great service by getting the groerries at a reasonable rate and cooking for us which was very well done. He made sure that we can stay carefree with all the meals being cooked on time. Recommended for groups to have a great time with walking around the property, using the pool and just relaxing.

Nimal’s place is absolutely perfect if you intend on climbing Adam’s Peak. It is literally about a 10 min walk from the entrance. Nimal is very warm and friendly, cooking us a delicious breakfast in the morning once we returned from the peak. The bedrooms are simple but perfectly fine. They are clean and comfortable which is the most important thing! There are loads of restaurants nearby too so great for grabbing a drink or some dinner. Excellent value for money too. Thank you for a great stay!
