The sleeping room in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100 m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage Site, where you can intensively enjoy the peace and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can sleep up to 5 people. Children can enjoy themselves on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

An indoor play area features colorful structures with climbing nets, slides, and a ball pit filled with multicolored balls. Safety fencing surrounds the space, ensuring a secure environment for children to explore and play. The vibrant designs invite active engagement.

Enjoy sea and lake vacation home

In a prime location on the Lauwersmeer in Lauwersoog, 900m from the Wadden Sea and the boat to Schiermonnikoog. Our cozy chalet is for 1-6 guests, has 3 bedrooms, heating and is smoke and animal free. There is plenty to do both at the park and in the surrounding area: Walking/cycling/National Park Lauwersmeer/children's entertainment during holidays/swimming/playgrounds/horse riding/bird watching/fishing/water sports/Schiermonnikoog/mudflat hiking/bowling/Animal park/Pieterburen/Groningen etc.

A light-filled interior features a wooden ceiling and walls, with large windows offering views of the water. Two dark chairs and a small dining table with black chairs provide seating. A soft blanket drapes over a chair, enhancing comfort.

Water Cottage on Lauwersmeer PierPlezier!

At a unique spot on Lauwersmeer are our two Water Cottages, half above the water. With spectacular views over Lauwersmeer. The water cottages, also called tiny houses, have a private bath room with shower, washbasin, and toilet. Private kitchen, with induction stove and oven. A double bed (2 separate mattresses of 80 cm) TV and small seating area. There is also a dining table for two people. Terrace with seat on the south. Roller blinds and nice warm blankets. Wonderful tranquility!

The Hiking Barn

The Walking Barn is located on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Wadden Sea and the Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, in addition, there are no houses and buildings to be seen if you look out through the high glass front with French doors. The Walking Barn is a cabin on a residential area. You'll sleep on the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for Wadding, a day of Schiermonnikoog, hiking, around Lauwersmeer cycling, fish food, etc. :)

The accommodation, with its own entrance, has been recently renovated and is completely furnished for a comfortable stay. During the summer, the spaces are wonderfully cool and cozy during the winter. The accommodation is within walking distance ( 5 min.) from the station ( train + bus). By car, the accommodation is easily accessible, a short distance from Juliana Square, where the A7 and A28 intersect. Free parking on own property.

very cozy house!! we were with the children everything was perfect! clean, enough dishes, there is a grill, clean bed, internet is super! we really liked it, thank you for a good weekend❤️

The cozy cottage with the fenced garden was so ideal for our little dog. Very well-maintained and clean accommodation, which allowed us to survive the many rainy days well. The view of the sea and the beautiful nature is simply wonderful!!! Highly recommend!!!!

We have completely relaxed in this wonderful place in the countryside! The view is amazing, you see a different animal shooting past every time. It is a quiet, peaceful place, but you can quickly reach the hustle and bustle by going to the city of Groningen. Also be sure to choose the delicious breakfast with the fresh eggs from the chickens that walk around. In short, highly recommended!
