A beautiful, cozy house right on the canal, which was furnished with a lot of love for detail and has everything you need. Communication was easy, friendly and fast. Even before arrival, Connie provided us with all the important information. Despite bad weather, we (8 people) had plenty of space in the house. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come again!

The extraordinary house is very secluded. It has a lot of charm and very good facilities. Very tall people have to bend over a lot at the door so as not to bump their heads. Paasloo is a good location for excursions by bike or car. Ideal for people who want to be far away from the hustle and bustle.

A very friendly welcome in a nice quiet Frisian village. Living in a well-kept old Frisian house, close to the water, has very much liked. Those looking for relaxation are in good hands in Grou.

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather, but the hot tub was still nice, especially for the kids. Close to the water and a lot to do nearby for those looking for.

We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic – you can look directly at the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing. A small note for those with pollen allergies: There is a lot of nature in the area, which is beautiful – but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!

We had a wonderful time at Connie's lovely stay. The cottage is brightly quiet, lots of privacy, near the beach on IJselmeer. A beautiful environment, nice lunch at the Strandhuijs.

Check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can directly access the lake via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

Jan comes from a long line of local family business owners, and you can feel that sense of tradition and pride in every detail of the home. The bedroom felt like a suite in a luxury hotel — spotless, cozy, and beautifully styled, with a personal touch that made the experience even more special (we especially loved the unique painting above the bed). But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere of calm. If you're looking to disconnect and reconnect — with nature, your thoughts, or your loved ones — this is the place. We had a nice few days at Jan's. The apartment offers everything you could ever need. In the village there is everything you need. Emmen is also easy to reach. It's nice to have peace and quiet for a while if you're used to big city noise!

We had a really nice stay with great views and a cozy, private balcony with evening sun. The decor is very tasteful and modern, the apartment is clean and well-maintained, the hosts are very friendly and make really delicious ice cream 😉 We will be happy to come back!

Jan-Warner's apartment in one word: great! A bright, light-flooded, tasteful, modern, furnished apartment. Of course, everything was clean and functional. For example, we have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation apartment. The whole apartment is furnished with a sense of detail. But the location surpasses everything! Right on the Sneeker Meer, on the corner of Princess Margret Canal and Starter Eiland. And in the apartment or on the terrace, an unobstructed view of the colorful hustle and bustle of the sailing and motor boats, as well as the commercial shipping. Even in bad weather, it was never boring with this view. Beautiful tours through the Frisian villages and lakes are possible by bike in the immediate vicinity. Sneek itself is just 15-20 minutes by bike.

Robert is a very kind host. The accommodation looks cozy, is clean and with a lovely large garden on the lake. Breakfast was various good! Glad we could leave the trailer for the surfboard until after the competitions in the garden. In short, a very nice place to spend time.

The place is very nice and clean. We were very pleased with everything. Above all, the dike and the lock are just a few steps away, as is the old town of Makkum. We will certainly be back.

We spent almost two wonderful weeks at this accommodation with four adults and an 8-month-old baby. The house was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-equipped – we didn’t miss a thing. We felt comfortable and at home from the very beginning. The location is perfect: close to Groningen and not far from the sea, offering a great mix of activities and relaxation. Highly recommend! Staying at this Airbnb was just amazing! The place was exactly as described in the pictures – clean, stylishly decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. By bike or car you can quickly get to Groningen, where you can do numerous activities! Our highlight was the hot tub, which was used diligently. We would come back.
