The Haven on The Virginia Creeper Trail

Located on the Virginia Creeper bike trail, we are only a 20 min. drive from the summit of beautiful Whitetop Mtn. If hiking and biking are your thing, this is the place to stay, as we are 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail, and a 30 min. drive to Grayson Highlands state park. Downtown Damascus is a 25 min. drive, and Abingdon is 40 minutes. Both towns have cute shops, restaurants, coffee, parks, and antique stores. Bristol is located approx. 50 min. from our home, and Boone, NC about an hour.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

The North Star Dome

Camp on our pick-your-own flower farm & petting zoo! This is camping, elevated with style & comfort. We provide the climate controlled dome, comfy bed (bring your own sheets), griddle, and basic supplies. Bring your own queen size bedding/sleeping bags, water, cooler, & firewood. Rustic outdoor shower is OPEN till October 1st! The Dome is nestled on our farm's off-grid hilltop, with tremendous mountain views. There are trails, farm animals to visit, & seasonal flowers/veggies to pick!

Holler Hideaway: Secluded cabin nestled on 16 ac.

We are 2.4 miles to Doe Mountain Recreation Area, ride your ATV from here to there, 15 miles to Watauga Lake, 18.7 miles to Virginia Creeper Trail, 28 miles to Boone, NC. Float the SoHo or Watauga without dealing with Boone. ATV/RV/Boat parking. Enjoy your morning coffee on the new back porch. Kitchen fully equipped. Queen bedroom and king floor mattress in loft. Hang out by the fire pit at night and take in the sunrise from the front porch swing.

She's ON the Creeper Trail with all the amenities of a full-size home, but in a smaller package: hot+cold water; electricity; full kitchen with compact fridge; HEAT; A/C; HS WiFi; smart TV; +a cute little bathroom with toilet+shower. Perfect for 2 people (over 12 years old+under 6 feet tall). *No pets, please. One parking space.. NO CLEANING FEE.

The Bungalow at Grandpa's Mountain

The Bungalow is a cozy not-so-tiny home at 420 sq ft. A 16x20 Gothic Arched building designed and built by the owner. Besides a fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, and comfortable sleeping quarters, you will find wonderful amenities outside! Views of mountains, pasture, and woods. Relax in a hammock or tell your secrets to Drifter the horse. Often Mr Groundhog or the Deer family will visit, too. The Bungalow at Grandpa's Mountain is a quiet getaway.
